COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

This one should bring hopheads halfway to heaven. Good citrus aroma serves as a precursor to the bite in store. On the one hand, there doesn’t seem to be much balance. On the other, when the hops taste this good, who needs balance? Appearance is penalized for the large amount of sediment.

Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit and pine. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 170609

Bottle at Block Party. Pours clear copper with a medium, white head. Bit hop aroma with sweet citrus and grass. Flavor has a nice, sweet malt profile followed by heavy, bitter hops. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with lip-smacking bitters and light, bready malts. Solid.

Resin and grapefruit aroma (and malt). Gold tending towards reddish amber (top to bottom under halogen), maybe a ruby hint towards the bottom. Medium feel, malt to start, moving to hops, to grapefruit, to hops. Grapefruit noticeable at the finish. Swish and it’s chewable. Swish and an apricot component appears. And it’s 78 ibu. Nicely astringent when all is done. Pine in the burp. Really, really, great.

Copper beer with a frothy off-white head that leaves some lacing. Big American hop aroma, with citrus, pine, pineapple, peach and roses. The little malt sweetness is quickly taken over by intense hop flavour, and bitterness, but the sweetness is definitely there. A think mouthfeel that is a bit overdone for my liking.

Bottle, bought @ Vinens Verden, Odense.
Pours lightly coppery golden with a great, creamy, small, off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, but with quite a malty balance. Slightly weak mouthfeel, but the ABV is a bit low. Super dry flavour, though, good hoppiness. Dryness, but not that much character, actually. Disappointing.

22oz bottle-pours a thick to rocky light tan head that laces with gold color. Aroma is lots of sweet citrus hops, zesty, with some bitterness, secondary medium malt. Taste is lots of sweet citrus hops-grapefruit, bitter, a bit raw, zesty, pine, secondary medium malt. Mild/OK carbonation.

clear amber, whispy white head, touch of lace, creamy body, big sweet grapefruit aroma and flavor, nice sticky sweetness with a touch of pine, as good as it ever was but the bar has risen in the 8 years since I last tried it
