May 29, 2004 Updated: Apr 8, 2005Pours amber with a rocky off-white head. The first glass of the bomber is clear amber while the second glass has a good amount of floaties. Aroma is malty, bready and yeasty. Taste is nicely bitter and sweet with a ton of hops with grapefruit, citrus, vanilla and pine. Chewy, earthy and spicy. Good malt backing. Nice lacing on the glass. Mouthfeel is perfect; full, round and creamy. Good stuff.

May 29, 2007 22 oz bomber shared with rebelbeerguy. Poured a hazy orangeish/amber with a small off white head. Aroma was flowers, pine and some caramel malt in the background. Flavor was a little weak compared to the aroma but pleasant none the less. Pretty good beer all around.

Jul 7, 2009 This beer pours a copper color with a thick one finger gold head. A delicious nose of sweet fruit, floral notes, and caramel. Flavor offers a quite complex hop profile. Some nice spice notes, as well. Caramel is very much in the background. This beer bumps up against the Barleywine category.

Aug 21, 2005 Bomber. Pours orange color w/ off white head. Nose is hopps and sweet alcohol. Taste is light w/ some alcohol finish and some light hopps. Small bitterness in the end.

Dec 12, 2004 Bright orange color with no real head. Sharp mouthfeel when cold. Light flavor, not a very strong IIPA. Bitter aftertaste. Pretty damn good, but more of what I would expect from a IPA not a double IPA.

Aug 29, 2009 12 oz bottle. Crystal clear topaz with a bone head; lots of lacy sheets. Nose is orange peel, tangerine and mango with hints of banana. Creamy, tangy and spicy with some nice hop resins. Taste is orange juice concentrate, maple, caramel and pine. A sweet treat with a subtle bitter finish.
