COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Bottled: Golden coloured. Light beige head. Hops, sugar and herbs in the aroma. Flaovur is fruity, hoppy and has light spices. Is nicely bitter in the end. Lacks a little power in aroma and flavour to live up to some of the greats of the style.

HOPS HOPS HOPS!!! The aroma is very floral and piney. Herbal with a suggestion of grapefruit. Very interesting blend within the aromas. Golden and cloudy. Frothy white head that is mostly lasting. Excellent lacing. Slightly sweet and malty up front. Tremendously bitter on the backside. Full-bodied. Lively carbonation with a creamy mouthfeel. Long, bitter, slightly sweet finish. Hop Heads Rejoice!!! Good IPA.

courtesy of Allen - clear amber colour with a fair off-white head; aroma of quinces and cream; good malt body and with a regular carbonation; solid bitterness before a long aftertaste of quinces, apricot and cream - a very nice one which brings some balance between malt and hops

Draft at The Ginger Man, NY. Clear amber color with a moderate white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Good hoppy and pine aroma. Medium body with a dry texture. Full well balanced flavor with a moderate bitter finsh of good duration.

A Mes rate. Bottle by the fire on Black Rock beach in Wales.
Well, I’ll start with saying this. Bloody hell! Beautiful clean amber gold with a really good white head and lots of lace. Great looks. Utterly glorious hops backed up with an equally divine hit of candy sugar and fruity malt. Adorable floral character too. Close to perfect prickly bitterness, really good length. Just bloody stunning all round. Brilliant.

Poured a medium to dark amber with a large off white head. Some floaties. Strong aromas and tastes of pine, citris (oranges) and a little grassy. Nice bitter finish. Light malts. I liked this one.

Light hazy gold with restrained hops aroma, very pleasant. Good solid sweet malts with hops comming well in final, but not in your face. Alcohol very present, but overall pleasant. (Sept. 2004)

22 oz bomber. Golden orange beer, thick, fluffy tan head and sticky lace. Hoppy aroma, fresh, lightly grassy, moderate resinousness and a massive sweet citrusy aroma. Orange and a bit of juiciness. Some pale malt aroma backs up all of the hops, but doesn’t interfere with it. Flavour is quite a bit sweeter than the aroma would suggest. Light caramel, cookie dough and biscuity malts underneath a juicy citrus hop flavour. Moderate bitterness up front but presents a lingering bitter palate. Nice, easy-drinking beer.

Clear copper with some sediment and a fully puffy white head. Strong hoppy and caramel malt aroma. Body starts lightly sweet and becomes more bitter and hoppy finishing with a sticky, dry bitterness. Decent, almost syrupy palate brings out some more malt, but in the end fails to balance the tremendous amount of hops.
