COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

approx 0.65 litres bottle, according to my google translation of ancient measuring system used on bottle ;-). lovely deep orange with a smooth thick yellow/light orange head. pleasantly mild hoppy aroma, somewhere between pine/grape and yellow fruits. some malts and some salt can also be detected. flavor is very malty, very hoppy, quite dry (comes almost as an acid note), salt licorice. both malt and hops are powerfull. the balance is okay. quite sweet brew. i like it a lot. good DIPA, one of the sweeter ones. i’ve tasted.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Light beige head. Hops, sugar and herbs in the aroma. Flaovur is fruity, hoppy and has light spices. Is nicely bitter in the end. Lacks a little power in aroma and flavour to live up to some of the greats of the style.

Light hazy gold with restrained hops aroma, very pleasant. Good solid sweet malts with hops comming well in final, but not in your face. Alcohol very present, but overall pleasant. (Sept. 2004)

Courtesy of After4ever - thank you Tom! The color is very beautiful warm amber and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma is alluring with it’s hoppy notes of pine and resin. The flavour has a wonderful malty caramel foundation with a nice smooth, grassy and piny bitterness and notes of citrus (mostly orange). It’s really nice! 2052
