Hoppy aroma, fresh, lightly grassy, moderate resinousness and a massive sweet citrusy aroma. Orange and a bit of juiciness. Some pale malt aroma backs up all of the hops, but doesn’t interfere with it. Flavour is quite a bit sweeter than the aroma would suggest. Light caramel, cookie dough and biscuity malts underneath a juicy citrus hop flavour. Moderate bitterness up front but presents a lingering bitter palate. Nice, easy-drinking beer. ¾ (5012), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Taste of maple, sugar, with a peachy hop flavor at the end. This one is missing a strong fruity side to balance the hop bitterness, though it is quite nice, and is a change from the more overpowering IPAs. Cornfield (4981), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2005 It’s a modest, creamy, yellowish head sitting atop this deep orange IIPA, but it manages to do some serious lacing as you drink. There’s a sturdy pine and grapefruit hop scent emanating from the ale with a bit of caramel malt oozing through. Medium-bodied and slightly oily, it delivers a solid hop bitterness atop a sturdy malt backbone. The finish is surprisingly abrupt, leaving only a light bitterness in its wake. Pretty decent over all.

A nice blend of malt anf hops without going overboard too much on the hops. BückDich (4856), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 20, 2003 Aroma is not of a strong floral hop as expected but of an almost "hop bread" aroma, not hoppy, not yeast, but a harmony of the two, hard to describe. Flavor was not as hoppy as expcted, balanced and complexly malty. This I could drink all night, not bad at all, alcohol isn't detectable whatsoever. Tmoney99 (4807), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Clear amber color with a moderate white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Good hoppy and pine aroma. Medium body with a dry texture. Full well balanced flavor with a moderate bitter finsh of good duration. anders37 (4796), Malmö, Sweden

Lots of hops in the aroma, hints of resin too. Hoppy flavor with some malty notes. Hints of resin too. Floral hoppy and long aftertaste. ChristianScheffel (4689), Odense, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Copper beer with a frothy off-white head that leaves some lacing. Big American hop aroma, with citrus, pine, pineapple, peach and roses. The little malt sweetness is quickly taken over by intense hop flavour, and bitterness, but the sweetness is definitely there. A think mouthfeel that is a bit overdone for my liking.
