4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 salvaticas (119) - - MAY 16, 2013
Bottle pour: dark, mildly cloudy amber. Very fresh aroma of hops and pine trees. Medium bitterness, but really smooth all around with very dynamic flavor points. Excellent, one of the best bottles I’ve had in a while.

Aroma: Citrus, pine, spice and wet grass.
Appearance: Amber with a steady, but small, cream colored head.
Flavor: Sweet malt and caramel with a balancing hop bitterness.
Palate: Full bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Smooth and well balanced in a style not usually known for such attributes.

@CBC13, on tap.
Clean, clear orange color, thin white foam head.
Served a bit too cold.
Nose and mouth are not intense.
It’s really disappointing how neutral this beer is. Maybe because of low temperature.
I must re-taste it ASAP.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, medium gold with a thin head and tropical fruit hops on the nose, crisp fruity bitterness, a lasting hop bite, very good.

Pours golden with a white foamy head. Smells of light citrus. Tastes of hops, citrus, and light bitter. Slightly sweet. Finishes refreshingly.

12oz bottle poured into glass. Been on the shelves here in FL for a while so I can’t believe I haven’t noticed it. Got a lot of big hop power with a very easy drinkable nature. Very tasty.

The aroma is slightly fruity, somewhat reminiscent of fresh apples ready to be made into cider. It is a very lovely dark amber in color with a nice off white head that sticks for a moment. The taste has some of the apple that is in the smell but also has the flavor of grapefruit on the finish. The palate isnt entirely pleasing being somewhat oily but the beer is more than flavorful enough to overlook that.

Sampled at CBC 2013. Clear orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is moderately malty, heavy hoppyness, pine, spruce and resin. Taste malts, hops, pine, spruce, resin, moderate to hevy bitter. Moderate to heavy bitter finish as well.

Bomber from the Jewel....pours orange with one finger white head. Some lacing. Hoppy nose....resin; spruce....nicely bitter. A little stronger than my target zone, but excellent!!
