my glass, though not as good as Victory Hop Devil. Good
flavor, though dominated by hops to the exclusion
of any malt flavor. Quite good.

Light orange-amber color, unfiltered and heavily sedimented, with a fine, creamy head. Good dosage of fresh piney, fruity, citrusy and spicy hop bitterness and flavor, blended nicely with toasty, sweet, light caramel malt. Finish is nicely bittering and juicy. Quite tasty. Typical pine and orange aroma with whispers of grass, plastic, nutty malt, and some sort of tinginess. Strawberry shortcake also comes to my mind? This aroma is rather soft, similar to Stone's IPA. Pale malt structure is well displayed in the middle. Tangerine finish and semi-aggressive bitterness make battle for what seems like minutes. Nice hop burps, to boot. Not a bad IPA, but this left me beckoning for a little more. However, (I know this varies greatly from one IPA to the next), bitterness is much more pronounced at room temperature and the potential is more evident. pivo (2537), Germany

I was expecting an over the top bitterness a la arrogant bastard, but got a surprizingly balanced beer. Decent IPA, but not worth too much effort to find. papajohn (1055), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA
