smells crisp and those hops donít hide. Pours a lovely dark amber with no head to speak of. The taste is bold and refreshing for an Imperial IPA. Less IBUís than a Hop Stoopid but they make this bird sing beautifully with less. Itís a really good brew, palate is nice, leaves fast and dry. Under-lying tones of mango and blood orange. Yummy stuff. resin, floral, citrus, bubblegum,.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a beautiful amber color with medium head and medium lacing. Aroma of hops and fruit. Flavor of hops that is very well balanced for such a hopped up beer, very well balanced with very little bitterness amd only as a note at the end of the aftertaste. Worthy of finding and drinking for those with an appreciation for hops.

Pours a light amber. Citrus and some pine on the nose. Slightly malty also and ends with significant hop bitterness.

While a lot of lagunitas beers taste similar, this one stands out. A perfect balance of citrusy pine hops and subtle malt backbone. No astringency whatsoever, the bitterness is all flavor.

650 ml bottle. Pours an orange brandy color with medium head. Big fruity aromas of orange candy and toffee. Smooth toffee and malt flavours with orange and light resin. Sweet and bitter after taste. Excellent.

Delicious! Iíve had a few Lagunitas brews, and this one is my favorite of their IPAs. Nice citrus fruit notes, with a bit of green in the background. A True West Coast India Pale. Cheers!!

Think Lagunitas IPA... now think BIGGER! This certainly is a souped up version of their IPA and man is it good! BIG hops and BIG malt. Roasty, toasty, hoppy, strong, and beautiful. What else can you say?

loads of hops attack the mouth, nice aroma and deep golden color. Malts are overshadowed by hops, but so well done, this is what an IPA should be!
