COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Bottle pour with a solid head. Mild citrus aroma. Very smooth for a DIPA, not a lot of bite. Overall a very good beer.

Poured into a pint glass ...the color on this beer is perfect a nice hazy orange/amber,lots of citrus on the nose very juicy grapefruit, oranges, mango and pineapple are all mixed in here ,nice 2 finger off white head with decent lacing, taste is actually sweet for a IIPA but is very refreshing with a heavy malt backbone to level out the hops up front and a nice bitter finish, a damn good brew...cheersl

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a moderately thick white head. Nice hoppy nose with some great malty and hoppy bitter flavors to it. A little thick, but a fun drink.

In bottle, crystal clear with half-pinky of bright white head and solid lacing. Nose is loaded with fresh tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, tangerine. Taste is sweet with malt at the front, and ends with sticky, resinous fruit aftertaste. Medium carbonation that leaves you wanting more. Overall an excellent DIPA, not on par with Pliny, but in terms of availability and price, an excellent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lately I can't get enough of this beautifully balanced and pleasingly flavored IIPA. I enjoy a Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale first, then a Maximus. Makes for a wonderfully hoppy evening.

Pours gold with a skinny white head. Didnt last long and left a lasting lace. Nose is big citrus, slight honey, cereal. Palate is smooth, crisp bubbles. Starts sweet, and ends with a nice mellow bitter. Abv is well hidden. Very nice ipa. -Fish!

While a lot of lagunitas beers taste similar, this one stands out. A perfect balance of citrusy pine hops and subtle malt backbone. No astringency whatsoever, the bitterness is all flavor.

650 ml bottle. Pours an orange brandy color with medium head. Big fruity aromas of orange candy and toffee. Smooth toffee and malt flavours with orange and light resin. Sweet and bitter after taste. Excellent.

This beer pours a clear golden amber color with a thick fluffy white head that left a lot of lacing around the glass. The aroma is hop heavy! I am picking up hop resin, pine, citrus, bread malts, and some tropical fruits. The aroma is just outstanding. The taste is full of floral and pine hops. There is quite a bit of citrus and grapefruit in there as well. Even with all the hops this is still well balanced with the bread malts. As you can imagine there is quite a bit of a hop bitterness in this beer. The finish is crisp and refreshing. I really enjoyed this beer and would highly recommend anyone to try it.
