gold with lots of floaties, big foamy off white head. fruity citrus and earthy aroma with apricot and pine. flavour is sweet, toasty and caramely with tangy citrus and pine. earthy finish with lasty grapefruit. not as bitter as you’d expect.

Jan 7, 2010 Hoppy, but not overpowering. Sweet finish. Smells delicious and the color is deep, but bright, red/orange hue. I drank from a bottle, but I bet it would be better on tap.

Jan 3, 2010 Bomber from Hall’s in Colleyville. Clear orange/amber pour with 1 inch of off-white head that leaves some lacing. Citrus, hay, grass aromas combined with a faint honeysuckle sweetness. Good, short-lasting, citrus/resin bitter with an appropriate level of oposing sweetness. No alcohol presence noted. Like most other Lagunitas beers I’ve had, balance seems to be en vogue. Not a hop-bomb, but a really easy to drink DIPA(?).

Jan 3, 2010 Golden honey in color with a minimal white head. Smells of sweet lemony orange citrus with a slight honey (maybe even molasses) undertone. Starts mildly sweet with a hop finish, but the sweetness balances the hops so the finish is not bitter. Slight alcohol finish on the nose.

Dec 31, 2009 Pours golden orange with a billowy head and heavy lacing. Aroma is fruity and strong, big citric notes with an underlying syrup sweetness. Flavor is similar in progression, though the middle possesses a bitter, somewhat chalky moment. More balanced than the lesser pales of this brewery.

Dec 31, 2009 Pours a nice golden / orange color with wonderful white head and then followed with nice lacing. Good overall aroma and strong taste of sweet hops. This one is strong. Great brew.

Dense lacy rocky big white head.Clear thin bright amber red color.Malty floral hop front.Creamy cloying sweet rich caramel fruit dough body.Lingering sweet malt hop spice mild hot end.Rich Unusualy Sweet Malty Lagunitas IPA.Tasty, but sweet, not dry.

Dec 19, 2009 Clear amber pour with a half finger white head. Aroma is citrus, caramel, earth, and grass with some light resinous qualities. Flavor is juicy orange, grapefruit and lemon with malt notes of caramel- borderline toffee. On the sweet side, but still maintains an excellent balance. Palate is medium to full bodied with medium effervescence and a sticky smacking finish. Well put together and highly quaffable.
