BlackForestCO (501), Fort Collins and Black Forest, Colorado, USA Apr 24, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear golden-copper color with a thick off-white head that left some nice spotty lacing. Aroma of light citrus, some earthy hops, and a light pine. Light caramel malt on entry leads into a sweet citrus flavor with a moderate hoppiness with a light earthy-leafiness. Smooth, lightly bitter finish with some decent bite. Not bad, pretty solid IPA. I would like to try it really fresh.
