COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Pours a nice amber orange with very thick off-white head. Aroma strong of floral hops, almost overdone, pine, strong malt, and spice. Flavor matches, but the floral hops just dominates it and I am not a fan of that. Definitely take a Hop Stoopid over this one.

This is pure liquid gold. The aroma sends hoppy pine notes straight into your cerebral cortex, and fizzy needles stings your eyes like cactus spines causing your taste buds cringe and pull back into shelter before even tasting it. And the taste, a battle squadron of hops carried by a perfect sweet malt body, slowly leaks out like freon into the ozone layer, fighting down your defenses and leaving you with a smile on your face. A strong, well balanced DIPA and after having a couple of these, you look almost handsome.

Hazy golden orange. Light filmy head, soft ring and lacing. Punchy boozenut nose, dried wood varnish with apricots stuck to it. Initial taste is coppery, sweet amber and oddly honeycomb creamy. Oddly spicy, like uncooked reformed beef later on. Sticky and busy carbonation, unlike the Hop Stoopid before, and finishes a lot neater. Warming spice, tea like bitterness and a dessert wine cleansing fade. Not terrible by all means but perhaps not helped by its predecessor being so daisy cutter hop fresh.

Golden clear with off white head. Aroma is hint of pine, lots of tropical fruit and some booze. Taste is apricot sweet and pine bitter. The malty flavor and the hoppy flavors balance each other but shine individually. Lots of pine and quite a bit of carbonation. Unusual and tasty. Lingering pine bitter, lingering fruity sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"yet another that i really like when fresh/good, but i’ve had too many spoiled ones to get it off the shelf. too bad, cause like their imperial red, it’s big and chewy and aromatic...sometimes."

Hints of bouquets of floral apricots and ditch weed, kissed with the hair of bubblegum butterscotch ginger.

Floral and well hopped aroma. The taste is heavenly good. Very taste of fruit and sweetness. Lightly carbonated. Wonderful bitterness that fills the mouth a long time. Easy to drink and good. Top scores from me. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

The name does not disappoint, hoppy a little skunky but not unpleasant, crisp good ale

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2014 22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer in Hillsboro, OR. Aroma is sweet, piney, and resinous, with hints of garden flowers and butterscotch. Mouthfeel is creamy and sweet throughout, with a slightly bitter finish. This has been a favorite of mine for years!

Flavour: Medium high hop bitterness, Medium hop flavour, fruity. Medium-light malt: biscuit, Medium-dry finish with lingering soft bitterness.Medium sweetness Mouthfeel: Slight warming. Medium body.
