COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

12-0z bottle. Poured a beautiful golden amber with a touch of cloudiness. Thick off-white head. Not billowing but persistent. Left plenty of lacing on the glass. Bold aroma carried pine and citrus. Rich malty flavor with notes of honey. Hops came on strong but the lingering maltiness balanced it well. LONG finish. The flavor lasted and lasted. Rich and sticky on the palate, too. This is an excellent and substantial brew that satisfies those that crave hoppy goodness yet want something creamy and substantial. Drinkable as far as a double goes! An excellent brew.

Could not resist to put my teeth in this DIPA, especially since Lagunitas IPA is world class. The beer has a very fine copper color and relinquishes some residue on the glass. The aroma is wonderfully strong. The taste is pretty easy for being an American "hop bomb". A very easy to drink DIPA. The medium bitterness is perfect and the beer would also have been if it were not for the chemical off-taste in the finish.

Pale gold, crystal clear, little lace, persistent head. Full body, smooth, well carbonated, just enough alcohol heat, very flavorful, long palate. Intensely bittersweet, bright acidity. Deliciously hoppy, honeyed malt, a great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From bottle in Helsinki leijuva lahna bar. Pours light amber/golden orange colour. Thin white head that disappears after 5 min. Medium carbonation, just how I like.little lacing. Grassy/pine/honey aroma. Peach sweetness on the palate that is well balanced, to finish with some powerful resinous new world hop flavours and bitterness. Double IPA style. Really good beer to enjoy cold when really thirsty. Mouthfeel is very enjoyable too!

12 ounce bottle. Deep yellow gold color. Large foamy off-white head. Tropical fruit nose with lots of resiny pine hops. Bittersweet hops and toasted malt with notes of mango, black pepper and more pine. This is a tasty IPA that drinks smooth and easy. Hides the 8.2% ABV very well. Finishes dry and spicy. Well done!

A dark yellow, slightly orange colour, a head is medium and blond. The nose has peaches, nice fructose, some mandarin and melon, rainy pine forest. Taste isnít so sweet than aroma, the strong bitterness dry the taste. Anyway, strong and almost full bodied is nicely balanced with hoppyness. In the simple taste has pine needles, some grapefruits, only hint of fruits, dry resin in the end. Maximus isnít the modern fruit sallad. Rough bitterness with nice balance.
