4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Started with this one on the morning of Christmas on a hot NZ summers day. Nicely fruity and aromatic. Looks lively and golden in the glass and has just enough bitterness to keep you on your toes. An awesome replacement for your morning coffee

Tap at Watering Hole. Pours a clear gold with no head. Grapefuit and pine resin aromas with some light biscuity malts in the background. Bitter on the palate with good citrus notes. Average carbonation and body that hides the 6% abv fairly well. Finish is citrusy and bitter and lingers. Very solid.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale gold in color, thick creamy white head. Aroma of tart apple, grain and west coast hops. A thin mouthfeel, great hop profile, typical Lagunitas style with a dry finish. Left me wanting more though, good flavor but something was missing to pull it all together.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured into a snifter. Deep golden pour with ample head and lace. Aroma is some fruit, light citrus, pasture, and hay. The taste is rather muted with some farm grains, hay, and pine with slight orange. Nothing exciting.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
(355ml bottle from Systembolaget, bb 06/2016) Pours dark gold with a small white head that fades without lace. Aroma sweetish pale malts, some grain, faint orange and grassy hops, little macro corn thing. Palate is sweetish pale malts and grain, orange juice and pith, pink grapefruit, pine and grass, a bit doughy. Bitterness on the lighter side, grapefruit and pine, some grain in the finish. Iced tea too. Feels like cascade hops. Lightish body with little carb. Not the freshest, typical in Sweden I guess, but also not particularly inspiring either. Lagunitas has better pale ale-type beers than this.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good pour with a slightly off white head. Tropical aroma gives way to floral notes, sweet malt. Taste is tangerine, sweet malt, slight pine. Dry finish, light body. Slightly dangerous @6.2%...extremely drinkable.
