3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle. Pours bright copper with white head, solid lace. Big spruce hops nose - bigger than a lot of IPAs. Not quite as hoppy in the mouth but enough to tell you these guys are all about hops. Solid and refreshing.

I’ve always been looking for a beer that went well with broccoli. I still haven’t found one. Maybe I should have tried the original. But then I couldn’t have rated it, since that was before ratebeer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Très pale, bonne effervescence, corps mince à moyen avec des notes florales franches. L’amertume est voilé et s’efface rapidement. Buvabilité extrême.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at keg and kitchen. Poured into an awesome lagunitas large mouth jelly jar style glass. Golden color, tiny bubbled, medium white head. Great lacing retention. Aromas of fresh and zesty hop, grapefruit, pine, caramel. Taste is incredible for a pale ale. Juicy, funked out ipa flavors. Tangerine, cheese, fuel, great malt presence mixed in on the back side. Perfectly bitter. Best pale ale I have had on tap this year. Lagunitas never dissapoints.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From bottle...Pours transparent amber with some carbonation bubbles and a small white head. Aroma is all tree sap and apples. Flavor is much the same. AMAZING. This would make a decent offering in the IPA category -- it is bold, deiclous in your face hoppy resin, a light oily mouth feel, with little malt to interfere. I would drink this everyday. It’s THAT good. It makes my usual session IPA seem boring.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet caramel, full of flavor, hoppy, dash of malts - very IPA-like for a pale ale, so not typical for the style, but still quite good.
