COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is not the original Pale Ale as brewed in far away 1993 in the back of the Old House of Richards Building in West Marin hamlet of Forest Knolls right next to little Lagunitas. It is way better. Back then the beer tasted like broccoli and kerosene and the carbonation ate right through and drained your stomach into your gut...

Beautiful bright golden pour. On the porch at Taco Mac, the light catching it just right. Thin head, evident carbonation. No lacing. Perky nose. Brisk, cleansing mouthfeel. Bitter. Lemony grapefruit. Like it.

Draft @ Brass Tap (Wesley Chapel, FL). Pours a slightly hazed golden amber color with a short lived foamy white head. Aroma has a lot of citrus hop notes with a focus on orange peel with some apricot notes thrown in for good measure. Slight sweetness up front followed by the expected hop bitterness. An easy drinking Pale Ale.

It smells like a lot of tropical fruits. Mangoes, pears, raspberry and some citrus all from the hops...fantastic. I also get a cracker like malt sweetness. I get all of those smells I just described in the taste as well with a sharp citric bitterness mixing in with the cracker sweet malt that mixes in with the sweetness from the hop flavors very well. Medium mouth feel not too light but definitely not heavy by any means. Definitely a pale ale by the way the mouthfeel is. If it was a bit thicker in body this could almost pass for an IPA pretty much. Excellent Pale Ale. One of my favorites for sure.

Pours a clear golden amber, large but flimsy head. Huge aroma of caramel, pine, and some fruit - oranges and apricots. Flavor is slightly malty sweet, but quickly turns to a cedar - like, dry, hoppy finish. Very fruity and bright, with some bitter lemon pith flavors coming out a minute into the finish. Much nicer balance than most Lagunitas brews, which seem to tend towards the sweet side. Light enough to enjoy a few of them on a summer day. Really good.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small, fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet citrus and pine. Smells pretty good but the taste lets it down. Slight honey and citrus again. Dry and refreshing, not much going on

It poured a hazy golden amber color with an off white head. The aroma was of caramel and mixed hop notes. The flavor was of caramel malt, nuts, grapefruit and light pine. It had moderate hop bitterness.

Bottle. Clear golden color with a medium sized pillowy head. Nice citrus aroma with orange candies and some grassy quality as well. Flavor lacks the orange of the aroma. More grapefruit flavor, some grassy hops, and finishes slightly bitter. Fairly light bodied and maybe a touch thin, but otherwise this is a really enjoyable pale ale.

dark gold with a big bright white head... hoppy pale ale, very dank backbone that I really enjoy, some grass and pine, not much malt at all though, really like it though... taste is not as successful as the dank pushes forward, almost feel like I’m drinking bong water, again all hops, no balance... great start but finishes weak

12oz bottle pours a hazy golden orange with a moderate bubbly white head with good retention. Aroma is light and grassy with floral hops. Similar flavor, with sweet malts and loads of bright hops. Not terribly bitter, but definitely sharp in flavor, with hops lingering past the finish. Really tasty and perfect for a summery Saturday night.
