COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is not the original Pale Ale as brewed in far away 1993 in the back of the Old House of Richards Building in West Marin hamlet of Forest Knolls right next to little Lagunitas. It is way better. Back then the beer tasted like broccoli and kerosene and the carbonation ate right through and drained your stomach into your gut...

Aroma: Smelling fruity, peaches, grape-fruit, grass and some toffee.
Appearance: The beer is clear light amber, has an high off-white head that leaves good lacing and has some curtains.
Taste: Starting with sweet bread, toffee, then apricot and grape-fruit marmalade, then bitter grape-fruit peel.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, sticky and fizzy, medium low body and a coarse dry finish.
Overall: A very hop dominated american pale ale, i’d like to throw in an "indian" as well.
Note: Bottle 355 ml. Reviewed 2012-09-11.

12 ounce bottle. There’s a tart kick in the flavor that makes this pale ale stand out from others in the style. Unlike most of its kind, this beer wasn’t just light bodied and easy to drink. It was also had a satisfying flavor. It’s a bit citrus oriented and floral in aroma. I liked it a lot and would definitely pick it up if I were in a pinch to find a fun beer that appeals to the masses.

Bottle. Clear golden liquid with medium to big off-white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, citrus, lemon grass, biscuit, bit caramel and mango. Nice. Taste has a light sweetness to begin with and follows up with some mango and grapefruit (which pairs nice with the sweetness) and ends medium bitter. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very drinkable. In many ways very Lagunitas-ish both taste and aroma wise. A drinkable, balanced and nicely hoppy pale ale.
