This is not the original Pale Ale as brewed in far away 1993 in the back of the Old House of Richards Building in West Marin hamlet of Forest Knolls right next to little Lagunitas. It is way better. Back then the beer tasted like broccoli and kerosene and the carbonation ate right through and drained your stomach into your gut...

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2013 Traditional golden beer hue with a nice white head and a light hoppy aroma. It has a smooth hop taste and an even smoother finish, Excelente!

Draft at Meet27. Hazy orange, one head, nice lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus, malt. Flavor is much the same, with light hops and bittering at the end. Medium to low carbonation (could be the tap, brand new). Refreshing Lagunitas beer.

12fl oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a white, one finger head that has great lacing. Aroma is bright with great notes of citrus, light pine and resin, and a faint breadyness. Taste is balanced but on the bitter end. Slightly floral with orange juice, pine, resin, and a drawn out, bitter backend. Medium body and carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth. Overall pretty tasty. Floral orange citrus mixed with pine and slight resin. Very drinkable. Yum.

Bottle at home. Pours caramel with a low white head. Smells lots of citrus and some of grass. Bitter! And some taste of caramel. One of my standard beers that can always be found on systembolaget.

Bottle from systembolaget. Smel is dry, dried fruits and flowers , hints of honey. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium porous white head, looks tasteful. Taste is a bit pale, but decent for a APA. Very fresh and drinkable. Palate is thin but just enough to be pleasant. Overall an nice beer but a bit to anonymous to get a higher grade.

Tap at Eureka Burger. Pours a very light straw yellow with tiny white head. Aroma was hay, grass, slight dirt and an ever so faint orange peel. Taste is a very light lemon pepper, honey and grass flavor that has a very thin mouth feel.

6 months old. Very mellowed out, mellowed out fruitiness, extremely low fruitiiness, very refreshing. No malt base whatsoever, pure hop, but feels a bit mellowed out. Weak alcohol taste to it.
