Crystal clear beer with a rich orange/golden appearance. Very clean rich munich malt toastiness. Freshly bready and lightly sweet with just a kiss of floral hops on the back. A very solid O-fest. golubj (967), Redwood City, California, USA Mar 15, 2008 Shared, thanks to goldtwins. Clear golden pour. Aroma is toasted caramel malt, sweet and typical of the style. Flavor is the same; toasted sweet caramel malt, light bitterness. Average for the style. bhensonb (2861), Woodland, California, USA Dec 30, 2007 Bomber; October 2007 Petaluma Valley Rotary Fund Raiser label. Roasted malt aroma with a bit of floral? Coppery amber color with tiny bubbles and a transient white head. Medium body with rather sharp carbonation. Caramel roast flavor, but there is definitely balancing bitter. A bit spicey. Finishes quite dry. Seems more of an ESB than anything else.
