Bottled. Golden coloured. HAzy. Off white medium head. Lasting. Sweet and hoppy aroma with herbal and fruity notes. flavour is flowery and sweet. Is well balanced and smooth. Medium bodied. Nice smooth bitterness in the end. Easy to drink and very pleasant. Goes well with a well spiced indian curry imo.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Overall I really enjoyed this pilsener, a Bohemian Pilsener, even. I especially enjoyed the beer history lesson printed on the packaging and again here under the commercial description. Very informative. Pours bright and cheery, lots of crispness to the hops. Very pleasant. Recommended.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was one of my original reviews, within the top 78. I know that because I deleted 78 ratings a year ago in a fit of pique. I remember that the old score was 4.5 total, far into the upper ranges for this beer. And I swear it was somewhat unfiltered and particulate 4 years ago, I swear it! On to this observation: A clean and crisp lager with incredible Saaz grassiness, hay, pepper and salt, just plain delicious. Pencil shavings too. Lacks a bit of body and some possible oiliness I have encountered before, and seems almost too clean, but exceptionally well-made. Among my fave American lagers. Thanks, whoever in OH imports this.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Spicy and lightly floral nose; distinctly Lagunitas house character in the pilsner malt; the body is slightly hazy; not as round or smooth as it should be, but it has a nice malty backbone as it should, and a solid, lingering floral and spicy hop finish; a solid player, and another nice one from these guys.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is what I love about pilsners: an abreviated but steady head, a hazy golden hue, the smell of a grain silo, and an irresistable drinkability. Lagunitas has a reputation for outlandish interpretatons (and unique inventions) though this one shows the ability to produce a product within its established genre with a distinctly proprietal stamp. The brew is deep for a pilsner with a longish finish and a decent little alcohol kick. A nice session beer.

Hue is a clear straw-yellow, complimented with streaks of marigold, a frothy white head that lingers throughout, and lively carbonation. The aroma is sweet and fresh as morning grass when its all dewy. spicy hops surface from the background. flavors emerge and overlap, one after the other - straw, slightly bitter hops, corn, honey, grass and grainy malts. finishes dry and bittersweet. Ah!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Yellow with nice white head. Malty aroma more than hoppy, which is surprising considering that it comes from L. Flavor is nicely balanced with some discrete fruitiness and firm bitterness in the finish. The mouth feel sets it apart from many bottled Czech pilsners, as it has quite pleasant carbonation and a nice round mouth feel. Could be more crisp in the finish, but still a very example of a hard-to-brew-right style.
