A golden beer with beige head. The aroma is sweet and slightly dusty - it must be the hops. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of straw and hints of caramel.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours clear golden with a frothy lasting snow white head. Nice and full sweet malty and grassy aroma. Flavor starts sweet with a dry bitterness kicking in. Grassy and earthly tones. Pretty tasty for a pilsner.

Pours deep gold with a great bubbly soap white head. Sweet clean hop florals, grass, honey and a little dough with toasted sugar. Bittersweet. Some berry tart and pie crust. Finish is nicely balanced with focused hops and some sweet candy sugar.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Citrus, mint, herbal hops over lightly toasty malts with some hints of sulfur in the nose. Slightly hazy golden body is topped by a decent, bright white head that recedes slowly to cover and leaves rings around the glass. Crisp hop bitterness with a light citrus, herbal character over a clean malt base. Some light sweetness lasts on the tongue. Light body with sharp, crisp carbonation and a refreshing bite to it. Lager glass. Fridge temp. Bottle (Half Time, Mar-05).

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Zum Biergarten, Cph. Very floral and spicy hop nose. Beautiful golden colored body, with a medium fluffy white head, looks like a pils should look like. Sweet malty flavors at first, then a fresh hoppyness, which ends rather crisp and bitter. A well crafted pils.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a fluffy white head that rettains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is floral and slightly spicy german hops (which always smell kind of corn-ey and skunky to me).
The flavor is sweet grainy malts that lead to a sharp hoppy, bitter finish that is a little metallic. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some sharp carbonation.
Overall, an above average pils (not my favorite style). It’s much more bitter than I’d expect.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle, purchased as single at Whole Foods. Pours much as expected, golden and mostly clear with a moderate white head that left some nice lacing as it diminished. Aroma is mild, but sweet with lightly toasted maltiness and some floral notes, pretty clean and simple aroma. Flavor is also sweet, a little more hearty than I might normally expect from a pils, light ripe summer fruits balanced by a good floral and citrus hoppiness with a bit of a spice bite in the finish. Light to medium body and smooth mouthfeel with gentle carbonation. Very drinkable, and not your typical lager.

Failrly good, but certainly not one of their better beers. Fresh from tap at brewery. Maybe I should amp up my rating for the sheer pleasure of being there?

2.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pretty damn good for a pilsener. This beer features virtually no head (common for pils), but makes up for it with a wonderful aroma of pineapple and ripe peaches. The flavor was mild, although this fact was definitely contributed to the barleywine and heifeweizen that I had prior. Usually, however, pils have a typically weaker flavor profile. This beer is no different. It did have a distinctly sour aftertaste, but was actually very pleasant due to the mildness of the beer. This would be a great beer to drink at dinner.
