pumpkinheart (63), Aurora, Illinois, USA May 2, 2008 Bottle into Footed Pilsner glass. Pours a bubbly, frothy-headed glowing gold. Very pleasant to look at in the tall, elegant Footed Pilsner glass. Aroma is citrusy hops and malty baked goods, but all very subdued. The fresh-baked cookies I was having ended up being an unintentional but tasty compliment. Flavor was tingly, light, citrus zest and a trail of pleasant, balancing bitterness that all leaves the palate surprisingly fast, but is pleasant while there. Maybe a slight bit oily on the finish, but nothing that detracts. An enjoyable, refreshing Pilsner.
edden (882), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Jul 3, 2008 7/3/08: Bottle. Wheat nose. Lemon body with an off white head. Lace clings to glass. Flavor of wheat and a bit of honey and lemon. Finish is smooth. Ceebs25 (21), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Nice easy aroma, prodominantly hops, grassy is a good description. Golden orange, nice fluffy white, minor lacing. Nice crisp bitter lager, some sweeter fruit taste as well, good lingering. The frozen mug it was served in was actually not such a bad thing, not too light either. Definitely hit the spot, i was impressed. jeremytoni (528), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Jul 1, 2008 From a bottle poured a straw color with a good amount of head. Nice smooth flavor with a quick finish. Magjayran (1080), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jun 29, 2008 Bright golden with a big white head. I like that I get a strong hop presence for a pils. Nice and clean at the finish. Grassy up front. Bitter in the middle. Easy to drink. VitaminR (234), USA Jun 29, 2008 Grassy herbal honey hop nose. Warm gold color with a hint of orange, and small soapy head. Mild rice wafer sweetness, spicy then bitter hops. Huge carbonation, light to medium body, bitter finish. Decent Pilsener, the bitterness is particularly appealing.
