3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12-oz bottle. Pours a rich gold color that is brilliantly clear. A lot of carbonation bubbles rise up through this beer creating a frothy, rocky head that is initially four fingers thick but dissipates quickly. Fair lacing. Aroma is grassy with hay and butter notes on the side. I get a hint of aromatic lemon & herb scents. Sweet grains are also there. The taste is lightly sweet up front and fairly spritzy throughout from the ample carbonation. Bitterness dances above the sweetness and becomes stronger as the sweetness turns buttery. Medium body with an oily texture. Long bitter finish. This is one of my first pilseners, so it is hard to say how it fares against standards in the style. But I really like it and will drink it again.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tastes a little better than Miller lite. Just don't like the style now that I'm into craft beer. Maybe a good lawnmower beer when really thirsty.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours an ultra clear straw color. About one finger white head. Some retention and some lacing. It’s well carbonated.
Aroma is lagerish. Mild hop aroma. Smells like toasted rice for thec grain. Biscuity and bready along with the rice.
Taste is a little more hoppy than the nose. It’s a grassy and floral hops flavor. There’s some grapefruit in there. It’s also crackery. It’s more bitter than you would expect. It’s also chalky. Weird.
Mouthfeel is pretty light. Despite the light body, it covers the alcohol quite well. Only slightly dry. It’s crisp and clean. It’s pretty drinkable.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about this. I want to like it, because I really like pilsners, but there’s something missing. The more I drink the more I like it. It’s unfortunate that I obtained this by trade, because I’d like to drink at least one more. I’d probably recommend this. It’s decent enough.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Neurolux. A bit disappointing, and not very "pilsnerish". I was missing the crisp hops bite on the tap. This came across more lagerish, is both aroma and taste, more like a Dortmunder. I’d need to resample under better conditions (i.e. not at a concert)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is clear pure yellow pour with mild sparkle, small head with mild lacing. Aroma is somewhat bitter metallic, basement with yeasty cheese. Taste is same--lightly bitter and sour. Palate is light to medium, average to fizzy carbonation, bitter finish. Overall, this is fair. Not as malty as you might expect.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Arnies in Akron. Poured into a pint shaker. Pours a golden clear with small head. Cereal, fresh cut grass and hay, and slight dankness. The taste is similar with grass, hay, and cereal grains. Light body, crisp. Not a bad Czech.
