Tap at Sacramento Brewers Showcase. Pours hazy dark gold with bubbles. Huge stone fruit and citrus nose. Med + body. Flavor is unexpectedly evergreen hoppy. This is extremely hoppy - tho not harsh. Amazing stuff.

On tap @ Brewbies 2014. Clear golden orange pour with a white head. Big time pineapple and grapefruit on the nose. Very pungent piney hops. Nice. Flavor is a touch sweet with some sugar and juicy pineapple. Nice bitterness of pine, resin, and grapefruit. Some fresh pulpy orange, too.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Big grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with caramel. Medium-plus bodied. Nice bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers with sweet caramel. A bit too much caramel.

On tap at Lagunitas during SF Beer Week, what a week! It pours crystal clear copper with thin white head. The aroma offer up thick malt sweetened citrus like tangelo, grapefruit and a bit of mango blending into some spicy hops. Behind those notes are some resiny hops murmuring about. The taste has lots of spicy hops creating some fresh kitty liter box notes. The hops then move up in bitterness and become resiny with bitter pine hop notes to midway and into the finish. Very tasty IIPA that is just too easy going down. Damn good.

Dear Joe, on tap at the release at Bobby G’s. Love your show. Clear golden orange with a creamy white head. Big skunky hops aroma and a sharp bitter taste with grassy notes and an earthy under sweet finish.

Tasted on tap at the 11th Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/12/2011. This Imperial India Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and citrusy, floral hops. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity, orange and sweet. The hops are floral and citrusy. Good carbonation. Nice balance between the hops and malt. Maybe a perfect balance with is really unusual for a Lagunitas beer. The bitterness lingers at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap @ Toronado & Bistro’s IIPA Fest. Orange copper pour (really flat pour at Toronado) Big hop aroma. Good bitter hop flavor, touch of sweetness (Orange marmalade?). Good but not great in a den of all IIPA’s

Had this on tap as the SF Fusion, and as "Don’t Call it Frisco". Pours a clear bright orange copper with a nice thin lasting white head- some lace. Aroma is the typical big fresh dank big ctirsu fresh hoppy lagunitas twang to it- with slight fusel/tar/petro bite to it, but otherwise the big fresh orange kick is nice, a bit dank as well. Flavor is big fresh hops, citrus, dank, oily, zesty- almost spicy with the hops- medium malt sweetness, just a touch of honey- then mostly dry although sticky with hop resin- low malt backbone which is good- finish is hoppy as hell, but very good. Nice.
