Commercial Description:
We brewed this Special High Gravity Cream Ale in serious celebration of the return of the salubrious Spring... With the long dark days of the Season of Damp nearly behind us and the possibilities of a long languid Summer ahead.

12 ounce bottle consumed at Foodery II in Philly. Pours amber orange with a white retentive head. Medium bodied but with a smooth texture. Nice aroma of orange and lemon. This has a good bitterness of orange and grapefruit, with a backdrop of honey and toffee. Nice medium attenuation. Short moderately hoppy finish. Enjoyable.

Pours an amber color with a very nice head but that head disapates to next to nothing within minutes. The lacing from the top of the head stays but the rest doesn’t. It smells hoppy and slightly sweet. It tastes hoppy as well and hits the palate with a bit of a bitter bite. It didn’t pick up the high then normal alcohol levels until the warm end. I never really got a creamy like taste but it was slightly so on the palate, again near the end. Ok as a beer not great as a cream ale.

Definitely not what I expected. The aroma can only be compared to a big ol American IPA. Hops hops and more fruity, citrussy hops. Interesting. As far as the taste goes, the hops remained a little more subdued. Good stuff. Like a creamy IPA. I want more

Poured a semi-cloudy copper with a solid head that stuck around. It was low to mediumly carbonated and smelled very citrusy and slightly hoppy. The taste was as good as the smell and reminded me of a delightful pale wheat. There was no bite from the hops and had an extremely smooth finish. I would definitely recommend this and would also have it again.

Thanks xnoxhatex! Pours a glowing dark amber with sparkling bubbles and a lovely thick creamy white head. Very sweet full malty aroma, caramel, honey and hops, spicy and a bit fruity. Very sweet sugary full flavor with loads of bitter undertones, reminds me slightly of steel reserve! Pretty simple flavor with hints of spicy/pepper and a bit fruity. Full bodied, creamy with lighter but crisp carbonation, love the drinkability in this fuller brew.

Balanced hop aroma, mile citrus and caramel. looks good, light and fragrant tint he mouth. Flavor is crisp & pleasant, again that hop-malt balance (though more int he favor of the hops)

Found this on tap at Paddy’s Irish Pub, Portland. Awesome brew! Golden in colour reflecting the August sunlight. Nice floral nose. Flavour is smooth and clean; showcasing a little bit of malt, a little bit of hops, a little bit of alcohol. Finish was nearly perfect incorporating a little more bite in the bitterness with some slight sweet and sour notes showing through. No complaints from me.

12 oz. pours clear and golden with off white head. aroma is mildly hoppy with citrus. mouthful is creamy with a nice orange citrus finish. hops linger a bit. like an ipa with a smoother texture. very enjoyable.
