mesperon (133), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA Aug 13, 2008 Pours out clear medium amber with a head like a fluffy cloud, although it disapates fairly quickly. Aroma is very hoppy with a flowery citrus note. THe hops are very strong, I would almost expect a weak IPA. The feel is very fluffy and light, apparently deserves the "anti-gravity name." The taste starts with a gentle bitterness, and then a nice cushion of malt sets in followed by a light hop flavor onthe finish. Very well balanced, light citrus and floral hoppy flavor covers the back of the tongue and roof of the mouth. Smooth enough and interesting enough to be a great session ber, but tough to take down too many at 7.6%. Not enough there to seek out. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 13, 2008 This orange amber pour smells of hops and an orange creamsicle. It is smooth and light with a hop bite. There is something else there I couldn’t put my finger on. I enjoyed it. nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Aug 13, 2008 12 oz. Clear copper with a small, lasting spit of a head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange-creamsicle, resin, honey and butter. Flavors of grapefruit, pine resin, molasses, caramel, cream and slight alcohol. Light-medium body is smooth and dryish. stangger (155), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Cream ale or double IPA, you decide ! Powerful aroma of citrusy hops (cascade ?), bitter taste and a hint of creaminess at the end and in the aftertaste. This loses points, if anything, for not being honest about its style. hellbilly (1502), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Aug 11, 2008 draft @ papago... clear rich copper color with a fluffy off white head. lacing paints the inside of the mug. smells of pine, caramel graininess, wood and that’s it. there’s a bit of milkiness in the flavor along with pine, citrus pith, caramel, grass, grain and a spicy finish. it leaves a parching quality in the aftertaste. medium to full bodied with a creamy soft mouth feel. cream ale, huh? emerica56 (575), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Aug 10, 2008 The color looks like a sparkling cider and the nose smells of sweet corn and sweet floral hops.Although there is no head you can really see the carbonation as it bubbles continuiously. There is also traces of apple and a some wood. The flavor is verry sweet and full of light fruits. You can really taste the booze in it. The aftertaste is allright, there is not much flavor left in your mouth after finishing the beer. Homer321 (127), Rockledge, Florida, USA Aug 10, 2008 pours a nose that is full of hops and cereal. sharp acid taste with grassy hops. way too hoppy, and definitely not a cream ale. Give the hops a rest! nbutler11 (731), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 8, 2008 Poured a rich amber color with a trim white head from the tap at Papago. Mild hops and citrus on the nose that carry into the flavor. Finishes with cream. Much like a harvest ale in body and taste. Smooth and refreshing.
