Bottle. Light light unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (051207)

Hazy amber colored body with a lightly yellowish head. The aroma is oranges with some notes of cedar. This is a clean and fresh smelling beer. The taste has some rich notes of grapefruit with lots of bread crust behind that. nicely balanced as this is obviously a big beer, because of the thick body. As it warms you also get a little bit of ginger in the finish. This is the style of beer where I think Lagunitas shines.

Beautiful hazy copper color. Aroma of caramel and hop, the hop is grassy. Strong toffee flavor, dry, with a quite strong bitterness as expected. Straight, dry American Pale Ale, well brewed but not exciting.

Interesting beer. Actually pretty good. Pour is reddish orange color with a decent sized foamy head. Smell is malty hoppy and of sugar. Taste is the same but has a soft mouth feel and nice long warming finish. This must have been aging alll summer and it held up pretty well.

Bottle, bought @ Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours a hazy orange with a small, slightly creamy white film. Aroma is powerful, some port, lots of hoppiness and lots of bready, biscuity maltiness. Some port-like feel to the overall aroma. Mouthfeel is oily with a clear dryness. Flavour is definately hoppy with a slight earthiness to it. Some slight maltiness in the flavour as well, but it seems a bit off centre.

On tap @ ale fest @ Del Mar race track. Poured a light, hazy amber color with a creamy off white head. Nose was malty and a little bready.....it snuck up on me.

A fresh aroma of crisp malt and flowery hops leads to the weolcoming flavour of nice round and light malt with a heartly hoppy side. Very smooth and drinkable beer.
