Commercial Description:
We brewed this Special High Gravity Cream Ale in serious celebration of the return of the salubrious Spring... With the long dark days of the Season of Damp nearly behind us and the possibilities of a long languid Summer ahead.

Bottle. Can smell some alcohol mixed with hops and sweetness. Dry bitterness - not my favorite. Can taste the higher alcohol as well. Flavor wasn’t outstanding. Just an average beer for me.

From bottle. Pours transparent amber with no carbonation. Nice head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is citrus and malt but otherwise oddly nondescript. Has creamy mouthfeel, with some bitterness in the finish. I don’t know what makes a good cream ale, but this is definitely drinkable and has a nice alcohol kick too. I’ll have another one.

Poured an amber color with a thin white head. The aroma is of piney hops, malts, and some corn. The flavor is of sweet corn, malts, some citrus, and a bit of hops. The cream ale part came through and was enjoyable and got some alcohol warmth in the finish. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel that had a nice bitter finish to it. Pretty good flavor to this one, not bad at all. Thanks again to mgumby10 for sharing this one.

Rich amber color with some white head. Smell is big piney hops at first, which mellow out a big, and give way to a bit of sweetness and light alcohol in the aroma. Taste is a nice hop flavor, fruity sweetness, and some noticeable alcohol, but not overwhelmingly so. Good flavor, and a nice beer, but I’m not a big fan of tasting the alcohol. But for the style, this is defintely pretty good, for me, and I imagine much better for others who really like the style.

Was not expecting much from this beer and it was surprising. Solid strong ale. Alcohol noticeable toward the end.

Pours a pale amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is malt and pine nuts. Sweet malt taste with notes of vanilla and hop spiciness. Smooth and delicious, not as bitterly over-hopped like many of their other products.

12 Oz Bottle via Rudy. Lightly hopped aroma with some pine cones, floral grasses and light citrus. Pours a peached gold, with rim of pure white. Flavor is mostly of the hops, but nestles in with some candied corn sugars, wheat oil, and banana rum. A bit of fusels. There’s a tang of citrus rind. Pretty mild overall. Alcohol noticeable. I don’t really get the point of this beer. It only has 40 IBUs, no desirable malt character and marked yeast signature. True, the hop flavor does come out cleanly, but it’s fairly singular.
