Commercial Description:
We brewed this Special High Gravity Cream Ale in serious celebration of the return of the salubrious Spring... With the long dark days of the Season of Damp nearly behind us and the possibilities of a long languid Summer ahead.

A very loose head with a deep golden color, pine, brandy, oranges in the nose. The body is mildly hopped with pine and oranges and sweet maltiness (great mt. hood hops character) and then finishing bitter

Bottle. Light straw aroma for the malt, spruce and herbs for the hops and maybe soap for the yeast. I also noted pepper and a indiscernible fruitiness in the background. Head is rocky white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is a slightly hazy amber/orange. Lightly sweet and moderately acidic to start, and lightly acidic and moderately bitter in the finish for the taste. Palate is light to medium, a touch oily with lively carbonation. A tasty beer from a new-to-me brewer.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden-orange with a large lasting creamy off-white head. Pleasant aroma of hops, piney & citrusy, along with fruit, honey and sweet malt. Flavour of resiny hops, fruit, sweet malt, pepper, some alcohol and a slightly alcoholic bitter finish. Medium to full bodied, smooth creamy mouthfeel. Quite refreshing, especially considering the abv -- I really enjoyed this (no way it’s a crappy Cream Ale!). Addendum: This sucker drinks easily and quickly, but the alcohol sure makes it’s presence known.

Light amber color with a creamy head to match the creamy yet spicy mouthfeel. Hoppy nose with slight caramel notes. Spicy acidic and bold. Nothing subtle here. Full-bodied and sweet with a creamy finish.

Fruity west coast hop aroma, with lots of malt. Big slightly off-white head on ordinary looking brew. Squat cali-micro twistoff bottle. Very smooth mouthfeel. Moderately tart, not as hoppy as it smells. Slightly candied and lemony. Finish is citruspeel bitter with vanilla notes. Refreshing. Thanks to PorterPounder for hauling this back from someplace.

Clear medium amber body with high carbonation. Ample, dense white head that leaves thick clumps of lacing. Aroma is of caramel malts, dry grains, and a decent amount of both herbal and resinous hops. The flavor is very malty, with caramel, toffee, and butter all showing through. The hops are mild, but substantial enough to lend good balance. There is definitely a good amount of creaminess to both the flavor and the smooth palate. Body is on the full side of medium. I enjoyed this one alot.
