I didn’t find this to be a great beer. Flavor was a little creamy, but I tasted alot of alcohol which wasn’t too great. Not too special for me, but maybe worth a try.

Sampled at the Seattle International Beer Festival, was disappointed. Revisited about 5 years later from bottle. Clear bright light copper with slim off-white head and thin lacing. Sweet, peachy aroma. Fruity, apples. Body is thinner than expected and sweeter. Soft carbonation. Very fruity! Apple, peach, white grapes. Off-dry finish. Slightly sticky. Not bad.

Lagunitas Sirius is a shiny sparkling amber, bordering on copper. It sports a fluffy, bubbly white head that mostly dissipates. The aroma is of fresh piny hops and deep funky malt syrup. It is very smooth, yet lively. It has a creamy and syrupy medium body. It’s a bit chalky at the end. The flavor is pretty simple: grainy syrup with some piny hops to bitter it up. It’s quite bitter but not remarkable as far as actual flavor. It’s very boozy, like an old ale or a strong ale. The bitterness lingers. Pretty heavy drinking here.

bottle. pours light red-orange with one inch head, minimal lacing. clean malt aroma. after first taste citrus hop and slight alcohol aromas become noticeable. has the bitter and floral hop taste of an ipa but it is backed by a very smooth malt backbone. fresh tasting malt at that... possibly some vanilla flavors in there as well. bitter is dominant but doesn’t hang to long. its definitely a well crafted beer, but not something that i will grab in the future. just not my style.

For a cream ale, this beer is quite hoppy. A: Gold with a large 3 finger fluffy head which lasts quite some time. S: Pineapple, orange, and sweet hops. T: More like an IPA than a cream ale, very hoppy with a slight orange hint. M: I would guess that this is where the cream ale name redeems itself, smooth as silk. D: This beer is labled as "high gravity" i can’t drink more than 3 of these in a sitting.

Light copper body with a tight beige head. Aroma is caramely sweet. Flavor starts out rich and malty but turns quicky to a significant rubbing alcohol tone, which is bordering on the unpleasant. Not much hoppiness to speak of. Finishes sweet and warm from the lingering alcohol. I’m indifferent on this one.

12 oz bottle. In my glass, this sits with a gigantic and rolling head of white foam that doesn’t budge a centimeter. The aroma on this solid orange beer is rich and malty with a creamy tone. This drinks wtih a fruity twist and a big malty undertow and a bit of a spicy/herbal edge. (#3062, 8/19/2007)

Pours a clear orange copper color with a medium white head. Aroma of orange lemon and citrus peel. Taste is citrusy with hints orange peel and faint mango. Quite nice.
