Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, rocky, creamy, white head that diminished slowly. Very good lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Medium to heavily bitter flavor. Tastes of hops, caramel malts, berries, citrus, and maybe Cascades. Medium body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Lightly bitter, dry finish. Easy to drink. Overall, good, and pretty hoppy. frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Pours with a golden/amber body, mostly dead, beneath a full and foamy head the color of pale flesh. A sour grassiness greets the nose but an underpinning of grapefruit and florals is nearly strong enough to push it back. Notes of honied-graham cracker. Flavor has sourness trumping the bitters with a grapefruit onslaught... so much so that I’d like to add a teaspoon of sugar. Very thick-bodied. I suppose this is well-made, but I really regret buying a full six-pack.

Fruity flavors with a hoppy finish. Maybe cherry and orange? I don’t know but that seems right? Easy drinker. I imagine this would be better on draught. mar (1807), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear orange/golden with a lasting one finger off white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of citrus, light malt, and light pine hops. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium slightly resiny mouthfeel with a fair amount of bitterness. Very good. envane (251), Evanston, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 4, 2007 You know, if you take a "cream ale" and brew it to high gravity, and then load it with hops, you don’t really have a cream ale anymore, just an average IPA. mgumby10 (1850), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 3, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange with a tiny little white head. Almost glows a little bit. Very fruity aroma, some orange, pineapple, cinnamon, and a litle spice. The taste is slightly bitter with a sweet cinnamon character. The spiciness really overpowers the fruit in the flavor, although it was somewhat noticeable up front. Prett interesting and flavorful brew. Real easy drinking and refreshing. Pretty good.
