Mar 10, 2009 Aroma: Really different nose, not something I can compare to anything I’ve tried recently.
Appearance: Poors a nice orange color, with a lasting creamy head.
Flavor: Taste is sweet and hoppy, certainly worth a drink.

arona is strong, i could easily sense it while pouring. sweet, hoppy, caramel, citrussy notes. after sitting a little while, the aroma gets a little more bitter, and a little more cellary.
flavor is smooth, hoppy , slightly spicy, caramelly, sweet, ends sweet and bitter in a good mix. mouthfeel is soo soft. everything about thsi beer is great. not first time lagunitas made something i really like a lot.

Feb 22, 2009 Copper color with a medium white head. Slightly fruity, caramel aroma. Flavor of brown sugar and caramel. Nice malty mouth feel.

Feb 15, 2009 2/1/09 - Bottle. Pours orange/amber with eggshell, foamy head, dissipating to a lacing foam. Lovely nose of caramel, toffee and brown sugar. Sweet and tasty, caramel, toffee, brown sugar with a solid bitter and hop flavor. A nice little barley wine type thing.

Feb 9, 2009 a- pours a light orange hue, two fingers of creamy white head, large and active particles with good lacing throughout
s- nose is dominated by sweet citrus hops (mostly orange), some subtle pine and grass tones
t- surprisingly bitter hoppiness for a cream ale, but nicely balanced with smooth malts, warming alcohol sensation, bitter and lasting aftertaste
m- medium-bodied, slightly oily with lively carbonation
d- i found this to be a strong, hoppy beer that is uncharacteristic of this genre, fairly smooth, but I wouldn’t drink more than a few in a sitting

Jan 12, 2009 Bottle...dark golden color with a small off white head...sweet light malt aroma...it drinks wonderful for a 7% beer...sweet and tangy with a nice medium body...good brew, simple and clean, very drinkable
