Aroma is nice citrus-lemon/tangerine hops, secondary medium malt-caramel. Taste is nice citrus –lemon/tangerine west coast hops-some bitter, secondary medium malt-caramel with some mild cream (soda). A bit syrupy in line with the high gravity. Easy drinking, smooth, dry finish. Mild carbonation. JAF737300 (792), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 12, 2007 POurs mid amber and shows notes of citrus hop notes and spices. There is a deep sense of malt in the palate but it seems to give way to hops and some white pepper. Between the malt and bitterness and the floral notes of the hops it becomes a well balanced beer. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2007 My first high gravity cream ale. Flavor is somewhat confusing but seems to work out in the end. Warming but no strong alcohol taste. Refreshing but not too light. Schultsc (482), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Pours a medium gold with a fine, quickly-dissapating head. Light fresh hop aromas of earthy citrus and spice. Flavor is lightly malty with some alcohol characteristics. Good bitterness provides a fair amount of dimension to this simple, refreshing beer. Fairly light body that balances out the alcohol well making for a very easy drinking experience. rshah16 (39), Illinois, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Vibrant orange pour with a thin but fine-looking white head. Sweet and citrus hop aroma, lots of orange. Medium bodied, slightly creamy. Nicely carbonated. Lots of hops in this one, citrus and some pine, orange and grapefruit. Light malt, toast towards the finish which is sticky, resinous and bitter. Pretty good. Lagunitas makes some good brews for sure. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 9, 2007 With a few exception, Lagunitas seems to have a handle on good beers. This is a good one. Apricot colored body, frothy ecru head. Sweet malty aroma with a wisp of citrus hops. Animated carbonation, medium body, slightly creamy. Flavor has a decent balance of hops and malt. badlizard (2339), Berkeley, California, USA
