This copper ale poured with a decent off-white head, that quickly dissipated. The creamy hop flavor is a bit thin at first, but develops into a subtle bitterness after a few sips. radagast83 (1289), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Very crisp, and almost creamy flavor. Scratch that, it’s very creamy. Alcohol presence is not noticable at all. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Pours gold-amber with a large, dense head. Citrusy-sweet aroma with a handful of pine and some very light caramel. Bigger pine nose as it warms. Interesting flavor. Starts out sort of creamy-sweet, then the hop flavor slowly builds until it knocks the sweetness right out of the glass. Said sweetness comes back for a furtive encore just before the end, which leaves the mouth dry, piney, and satisfied. hopson (594), Williamsville, New York, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 7, 2007 bottle- Great beer! golden in color, extremely clear, white lacing head. huge centennial taste, clean and crisp, with some big time pine flavor. I don’t know if this has anything to do with a cream ale, but it’s good. BrockLanders (747), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 6, 2007 I’m reading the previous review...uh...deep mahogany?! Not even close. Golden-amber at best.....maybe someone bled into your glass. Better than expected taste....aroma is very pleasant. Mouthfeel is, in fact, fairly creamy....nice hoppy bitterness.......I see this being a nice session brew..even at 7.6%. A nice surprise. cyanescens (156), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Lekker looking bier with white head and deep copper body. Aroma of malt, hops and pine. Full mouth with creamy texture. Seems lighter in alcohol than it is. Ordinary finish, almost disappointing until the hop bite. Definitely worth seeking out. fakepurseninja (777), Washington, USA

Soft up front with a usual Lagunitas malt complex. Lots of hop flavor without being over citrusy or acidic. Reminds me of a sweert banana bread intermixed with very light pine - citrus is lime, which plays well into this sweet brew. Very mellow and smooth but stong and heavy. Really great brew from the fine folks at lagunitas.
