Commercial Description:
We brewed this Special High Gravity Cream Ale in serious celebration of the return of the salubrious Spring... With the long dark days of the Season of Damp nearly behind us and the possibilities of a long languid Summer ahead.

light clear copper body with a thick lacing nicotine stain looking head. this is a sixpack i’m glad i bought. it’s gonna be a good night. i am thinking nugget when i smell this, incredible lemon fried pie nose with a cool cut grass scent. hints at some sweetness. a nice aroma to put it lightly. they are trying to call this a high grav cream ale, i’m thinking west coast amber. the hops are amazingly bold, but work with the malt perfectly. the alcohol is a bit too abrasive though, along with a sulphur note after the 2nd. grass and lemon custard finish that is a pleasure. the custard/pie flavor is great throughout this. rich velvety sweet pudding flavor that i love. i’m going to drink so much of this in the next month or two.

Pours a clear golden color with a moderate amount of dense white head. Aroma is pale malts, grass, apple. Flavor is pale malts, citrus, apple, caramel, slight alcohol. Palate is medium bodied, highly carbonate, creamy, velvety finish

35.5cL bottle, courtesy of hopscotch. Thanks, Eric! Pours a hazy apricot color; off-white head with light retention and lacing. Chewy, candy sugar and maple syrup in the aroma. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: plenty of candy sugar and chewy toffee; dense malt core, although it’s more of a candy shop than anything else; some floral and vanilla notes as well, giving a creamy texture overall. I’m not sure that I was missing an imperial cream ale in my life (it’s dense, but uneventfully dense). Medium, sugar and citrus hop finish.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of CaptainCougar. Pours ever so slightly hazy, pale, amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of caramel. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet caramel with a fairly hoppy finish. 060407

Bottle. Poured clear amber/orange with a medium head. Aroma of grass, pine and earth with a generous amount of caramel. Taste a bit of apple and apricot. Medium body. I usually don’t appreciate the ’earth’ flavors/aroma in beer. This dragged down my rating.

Bottle. Amber colour with a off-white head. Floral hop, peach aroma and a sweet malty, thin, floral hoppy taste. Medium body with a dry finish.
