| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 31, 2007 Rich amber color with some white head. Smell is big piney hops at first, which mellow out a big, and give way to a bit of sweetness and light alcohol in the aroma. Taste is a nice hop flavor, fruity sweetness, and some noticeable alcohol, but not overwhelmingly so. Good flavor, and a nice beer, but I’m not a big fan of tasting the alcohol. But for the style, this is defintely pretty good, for me, and I imagine much better for others who really like the style. AmEricanbrew (2006), Almost, Texas, USA

At 7.6%, this brew is way too easy to drink. A great lawn mower beer. May 2005

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2005 Bottle. Pours an golden/orange color. Aroma is malty and a litle bit fruity. Nice, slightly sweet malty flavor. A biting spicy bitter kick in the finish. Reminds me more of a good ESB than an APA. I can detect a slight alcohol twang as well. mar (1981), Dallas, Texas, USA

Palate is full well carbonated and lightly creamy. Flavor is very odd.. a light lactic taste some light carmels some heavy whipping creme, some citrus touches of bread and a nice dry sweet finish. Alcohol is unnoticed. This stuff is odd but really quite good. I’ll buy and drink again. hophead75 (1964), Boonton, New Jersey, USA
