Pours amber orange with a white retentive head. Medium bodied but with a smooth texture. Nice aroma of orange and lemon. This has a good bitterness of orange and grapefruit, with a backdrop of honey and toffee. Nice medium attenuation. Short moderately hoppy finish. Enjoyable. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA

Nose-,medium citrus hops, very good American Pale Ale like nose. Taste-creamy thick mouthfeel, medium butter, unsweet light citrus, kind of wheaty, big hop presence (much more than I would of thought given the nose), medium bitter, light citrus. Tastes like a very well done slightly hoppy IPA with a soft creamy mouthfeel. Very well done. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 9, 2007 With a few exception, Lagunitas seems to have a handle on good beers. This is a good one. Apricot colored body, frothy ecru head. Sweet malty aroma with a wisp of citrus hops. Animated carbonation, medium body, slightly creamy. Flavor has a decent balance of hops and malt. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2008 On draft at Tyler’s, Durham. Fairly anonymous amber pour, glowing and rich hued but without any evident carbonation or liveliness to it. Modest spicy aroma with some hops dominating along with a smidge of zesty fruits. Less malty than some other Lagunitas beers, and it makes for an interesting mingle between the hops and the spice. But overall I found this fairly anonymous. Palidor19 (1798), Brandon, Florida, USA
