We brewed this Special High Gravity Cream Ale in serious celebration of the return of the salubrious Spring... With the long dark days of the Season of Damp nearly behind us and the possibilities of a long languid Summer ahead.

355 ml bottle. Dark amber colour. Intense malt aroma. Bold caramelly aromas. Sharp hoppy flavours. Very interesting complex maltiness. Excellent taste. The malt composition is still unknown to me. Would like to know, please. Sugars and enormous amounts of specialty malts? Distinct hoppy bitterness. Very nice.

Nice creamy brew which gives the impression of caramel, pines citrus, fresh bitterness in a good way. Nice and good!

For a cream ale, this had a very distinct aroma of balanced malt and hop with just a slight hint of citrus ester, taste was sprite and full,no hint of adjunct as you would find in other cream ales,a cream ale at bock gravity, light enough to be a great session brew, full enough to contemplate the taste. Excellent

Gold color with a very thin white head. Some citrus and honey in the aroma. Flavor is rather sweet with a bit of citrusy hops at the end. Not hoppy enough to cover up an unpleasant malt liquor like sweetness for me.

Pours a copper orange with a thin, cream colored head. The nose is very floral and pine hoppy. The flavor is also hoppy with a nice balanced malt influence. A bit sweet and very easy drinking.

Slightly hazed orange body. Fizzy off-white head. Aged malt aroma. Faded hops. Flavor is much of the same. Caramel, sweet fruit. Nothing outstanding but okay.
