2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22-oz bottle. Pours sunset orange with a small frothy white head, cloudy with a large chunky yeast layer on the bottom. Aroma is sweet, sugary malt (hay, meal), fruity and floral hops, pine notes. Heavily acidic and bitter hop rind, juice, pine, finish is dry hoppy. Medium bodied, fizzy-spicy and dry palate.

Crystal clear, deep golden ale/lager. Hoppy and malty aroma and flavor. Citrus fruit and butterscotch in the nose. Decently-balanced flavor with big shots of caramel and grapefruit. Full-bodied with a heavy, creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, astringent, bitter finish. My first imperial cream ale. Interesting and quite good.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle. Cloudy golden brew. Sweet malty aroma, some brown sugar and a bit of honeyed sweetness. Some herbal mintiness over the top. Medium-bodied with loads of residual sugars. Quite sweet and tends to get cloying through the mid-way point of the bottle. Overly simplistic. Bigger isnít always better.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light amberish color totally clear with a medium whitish head. Aromas remind me of a pale ale or ipa. Flavor is malty and sweet with a very good hop backbone. reminds me of an IIPA in flavor. I like this one and think it is a tad underrated.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I was expecting a creamy ale but also got a pale ale with it. Creamy head, C hop aroma, medium yellow straw gold colour. Sourish, with sweetness secondary, whether intended or not. So I am of two minds on mouthfeel, creamy and pucker lemon is an inigma. Picked up days ago from Dayton Ohio.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2013 Copper colored. Very sweet hoppy caramel nose, fresh peaches and piney hops, typical Lagunitas brown sugar aromas too. Spicy and peppy flavor, semi-thin body, but it fits well with the flavors. Unimposing, fresh tasting cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, caramel and active woody hops. The body turns more creamy as your swallow, and the finish is alive with yeast and creamy hoppy goodness. A winner.

Hazy dark straw pour with medium, white head and great lacing. Aroma of honey malt, apricot, hops. Tastes hopcity, with some tartness and spicy esters at the finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2008-09-12. Lightly hazy orange amber body with a smallish off white head. (3+) Aroma is mild, light hops and malt. (6+) Flavour has a pleasant malt base, caramel with just a touch of toasty malt, moderate sugars and alcohol in the finish. Pleasant hoppy bitterness makes variable appearances at different tomes and lends a slight feeling of hotness to the alcohol as the glass warms up. (7+) Average plus palate. (3+) Threatens to let the alcohol get a touch too strong at times, but I quite like something about it. Bottle was a few months old but has not seemed to suffer from it. Bottle from Mabel’s Florida Trip

Thanks to goldtwins for sharing: Pours a clear copper with a thin lightly-lacing white head. Semi-sweet caramel malty aroma has a faint hint of earthy hops. Starts with a nice sugary malty sweetness turning slightly citric and dry toward the crisp sticky finish. Fairly drinkable but not that complex.

12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Copper colored pour with a medium head that leaves little specks of lacing. Subtle sweet grain aroma with a hint of hops. Taste is citrus, caramel, hops. Odd taste to me. Not off, just odd.
