Full malty, both in aroma and flavor. Strong and delicate hop aroma, and lots of bittering hops in the flavor as well. Well-bodied and smooth in the mouth. Lingering bitter finish. A powerful and refreshing one. nolankowal (855), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Kind of spicy aroma with some light citrusy hops and some malt. The Flavor has a nice citrusy bitterness with a nice creaminess to it, though it feels like a bit too much booze is coming through. Sturdy body light bittersweetness throughout and finishing with a warming bitter citrus...pretty crisp yet that creaminess throws you off. Headbanger (1601), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Aroma of hops, citrus, and some malt. Taste of caramel, malt, hops, and finishes with a creamy dryness. This medium bodied brew is very well balanced. Nice tasting brew. wu1000k (12), Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 29, 2008 Aroma is Citrus / cream / slight-caramel. Starts out as classic pale ale infused with sweet / caramel / citrus, then hops come, then dissolves into creamy aftertaste. mouth feel lingers for several seconds, classic pale ale, slighty dry aftertaste. Medium carbonation. While not something I would drink on a regular basis, I would definitely have one again. chimpscampee (566), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

The pour is a nice dark golden color with a solid white head. The aroma is hoppy and with very light hints of sweet fruits. The taste is of lightly spiced floral hops. This beer has a nice creamy mouthfeel and is refreshing. lukin013 (211), Columbia, Maryland, USA

Pours a clear amber color with a creamy off-white head. Loved the fruity and hoppy aroma... apricot, orange, raspberry. Tastes a bit like an IPA but a little less bitter and a little more sweet. Really hitting the spot on a hot, muggy July night.
