4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at Redlight or Sourfest. Dark gold pour, very clear with a thick white head. Musty earthy hop aroma with a hint of sour tart lemon. Smooth crisp malt with a nice earthy hop bite in the taste. With a little warming, resiny citrus hops and lemon tartness start to poke through in the flavor as well. Damn good brew.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Rattle n Hum. Poured a clear light amber with a white head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma had a bit of funk, some sour fruits and a bit of grassy and pine hops. Flavor was similar with slight sourness and funkiness but a bit too much hopines in a gueuze for me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fruity, sweet, mild tart nose. Flavor carries that thru with the sweet fruit making it almost soda po like in flavor. Quite refreshing and makes you ready to brave the hot streets of NYC again. Solid but coulda used more funk, yo.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
on tap @ redlight redlight for Sourfest. Funky hoppy nose with vinous notes. Pours golden blonde with a thick white head. Slightly tart up front with light fruit notes with some citrusy hops and oaky vanilla. Man this is pretty good. This is exactly what I would imagine a Lagunitas wild beer to be like, funky but still have the hops.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Light tart aroma with some light lemony and earthy notes. The flavor has a wheaty base, with some light tartness and light earthy notes. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at RnH during the Sours Gone Wild Event with Pat, Andrew, Dallas & Bobby. This seems like a great idea - blending different aged versions of their saison. Pours a bright golden body with white lacing. Aroma is funky tart. Mouthfeel is tart with nice carbonation and notes of wild yeast, fruit, wheat, and tart.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Beer Revolution. A very nice treat! Pours with a lightly hazed golden hued body with a tight, just off-white head with decent retention. Aromas of funk, lactic acid bacteria (pedio), white wine, suntan lotion, oak, tannin, brett and wet leaves. Flavors of funk, lactic, a bit metallic, white wine and soft notes that come with aging. Melange of white and red wine flavor notes. Tannins and brett. Iron. Leaves. Temporary hardness. Dry and earthy. Lively, well attenuated, good carbonation. Complex and tasty.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours golden yellow with a nice white head. The aroma is lemony with some vanilla, apricots, and a touch of wood and funk. The flavor is really nice with lots of barrel elements, lemon, vanilla, apricots, and mild basement funk. This is a little full bodied and sweet for the style, but the flavors are all there. Nice one from lagunitas.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at tap house in Petaluma. Pours gold and clear with very thin head. Aroma is pungent and interesting. Definitely acidic and fruity - but hard to distinguish. Not vinegar/acetic acid, but definite sour nose with touches of peaches and pears? Flavor follows aroma. Soft malt backbone with strong tartness/acidity and funky fruit/ester characters. Finish is balanced with touches of sweetness and sourness with touches of funk (brett?) and continuing fruity/estery flavors. Mouthfeel is dry and acidic with brisk carbonation and light. Overall, very interesting - perhaps unusual.
