bottle thanks to wavers1! Pours deep orange gold with a medium frothy white head. Aroma is citrus hops and some pine. Flavor is aweome, some toasted malt, hay, orange peel, and a grapefruit bitter hop finish. Really nice and drinkable. Great doubleIPA!

Served cold from tap at Blind Tiger, NYC. Golden orange color with a good off-white head. Very sticky lacing. Citrus and floral hops in the aroma. Flavor is a mixture of sweet malts and very bitter hops. Very interesting mouthfeel. Oily. Active carbonation. Wild beer. Very cool.

Upon cracking I got a huge whiff of citrus sweetness. Citrus is present in the flavor but the sweet part is dampened by insane hops. Aftertaste is bitter and almost smoky. Mouth is slick and heavy, excellent. Intriguing brew, very solid all around.

Great aroma. Nice head at start of pour. Very bubbly. Light orange appearance. Nice, bitter finish but not too hoppy. Nice balance. Nice palate. Taste stays bitter long after sampling. Great beer. I could drink this all night :)

I need to enter my review on this beer before I get any more via trades. To date I have purchased one at Heritage Liquors and have received four more during the past five months from beer traders. From a 22-oz bottle pours a semi-clear golden orange colored brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus zest, some apricot and tangerine. Taste is medium to full bodied, flavors of grapefruit, some dry biscuits. caramel and mango. Finish is sweetened bitterness that lingers after the finish. Overall, a very good and solid double IPA.

Colden color with large head and sticky webbed lacing. Citrus and hop aroma. Flavor is dominated by hops, but balanced with the citrus flavor nicely so that you aren’t overpowered by the hops. Good beer.

22 oz bomber. Really not too potent on the hops in the aroma for a dipa. Though on the lighter side, the aroma is still well balanced and pleasant. A lot of fruity and herbal notes here, with melons, a sugary/tart citrus, some general mild fruit, light caramel and biscuits. The pour had some nice frothy head, very sticky lacing, some light particulate in the medium thick body, and a straight orange-red color. With a medium-full body, there’s not as much pop as you might expect, though it does have a nice creamy feel that finishes with a smooth bitter hop. If there’s one downside to this beer is that it doesn’t have a ton of complexities in the flavor. This isn’t really such bad thing though as the semi-sweet hop tropical citrus fruits and caramel cookie malts go together very well with a very nice balance that makes for easy drinking. This was quite a nice selection from a Lagunitas and perhaps the most sessionable dipa I’ve ever had.

pours a very clear golden honey color with a foamy white head...lively looking with nice retention. aroma is grapfruit, spicy hops...herbs of some sort and more grapefruit with subtle malt backing. flavor has loads of resiny hops...lots of grapefruitiness! again just a touch of malt backing. mouthfeel is oily and lively on the tongue with a dry hoppy citrus finish. awesome beer!
