Darkover (1308), Columbus, Ohio, USA Sep 3, 2009 Golden orange color with a white head. Aroma of citrus and piney hops. Flavor of citrus hops and some sweet fruits. Good. slitcher (92), Freeport, Illinois, USA Sep 3, 2009 Pours a dark gold with a thin head. Grapefruit, pine resin and hops. Huge grapefruit and pine flavors up front with a nice dry bitter finish. An excellent IPA at a great price! uhclem (188), Loveland, Colorado, USA Sep 3, 2009 Lagunitas never disappoints. Pours a clear gold with a long-lasting, medium head and good lacing. Nose is a lovely mix of grapefruit, pine and hops. Taste recapitulates the nose. Mouthfeel is smooth and silky. Finish is grapefruit all the way. This one is a keeper! LearninBeer (194), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA Sep 2, 2009 Pours a golden orange with an off white head that’s big and creamy, good lacing. The aroma is Hops, citrus, pine and a little lemon lime. The initial flavor is bitter, hoppy. The mouthfeel is creamy. soccer290 (135), Highland Park, Illinois, USA Sep 1, 2009 22 oz bottle. Liked the name, liked the IBU’s, Lag’s are decent enough. Pous a beautiful bronze with a small white head that dies slowly. Actually quite gorgeous the way the light catches it. The aroma isn’t terribly complex, but has an excellent nose-feel of fresh hops, pine, and citrus. I am a little skeptical, thinking maybe it won’t be full-bodied for me. It turns out to be only medium bodied, which is a light flaw, but it covers it up with such a bitter hop presence. It really is not for the faint of heart, with all 100+ IBU’s showing. Not bad at all for the 5 or 6 bucks I spent on this bomber. Macadem (100), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Sep 1, 2009 Smells sweet but in a good way, and of hops (no surprise). Pours a golden yellow with white head and tastes of malt, hops, horse blanket. Very good, a decent everyday drinker. wavers1 (111), novato, California, USA Sep 1, 2009 awesome brew, super cheap, super available, super dank. nuff said. a light golden pour with a nice head and lacing. hops, hops, more hops. sweet, bitter, oily, tart, all of the hops. it’s def stoopid how good this shit is. milewide (609), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Sep 1, 2009 Updated: Sep 7, 2009Light amber color.
