JoeZasada (133), Beaumont, Alberta, Canada Sep 1, 2009 Bottle (bomber). Pours a hazy light amber colour (reddish) with a thin white (but long lasting) head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Tastes hoppy, with some malt and citrus tones. Extremely smooth, no harshness at all. Very well balanced. You would never know that there are 100+ IBUs of hops! Very good. Will probably do this one again... and again... and again... Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 30, 2009 A golden amber ale with a thin frothy white head. Another very bready malt aroma, with floral hops, mentol. In mouth, a hop bomb with warming alcohol, nice biscuitty malt, grapefruits, sustained bitterness. Rich and smooth. On tap at brewery, August 16 2009. DeadGirl (192), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Aug 30, 2009 Updated: Oct 18, 2009Pour from the bottle: Extreme hop flavor followed by apricots, resin, grapefruit, hops... and a rather soapy/sour finish. Drinkability: bomber. Rebuy: definitely- a four dollar bottle! #103 on 30082009, DG. TheGrandMaster (1846), Auckland, New Zealand Aug 30, 2009 Bottle (in NZ). So much fruit - but citrus and tropical. Not as bitter or dry as you would expect, in fact I got some creaminess in the palate - which I loved. csbosox (1076), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Aug 30, 2009 $3.99 for a 22oz bottle, needless to say, this was a good deal. Excellent clarity, gold colored with an orange tint and a two fingered head. Plenty ’o carbonation. Sweet orange blossom honey and tangerines in the nose. Aroma is pleasant, but not too intense. Taste is wildflower honey, bitter orange and pine with a strong bitterness that must be blunted at the end with the combating residual sweetness. The beer never comes across as sweet, which is a very good thing. Will buy again when I am looking for an IBU fix. 502Flavors (617), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Aug 29, 2009 750 for 6 dollars and change. A pale copperish golden pour with a descent barely off-white head. Aroma is very nice - sweet juicy grapefruit and citrus with just a hint of piney resinous hops. Flavor is definitely more resinous but not super biting. Very unexpectedly smooth on the finish. The alcohol doesn’t exhibit that bold of a presence, but the hops seem to bring the booziness out a bit (weird). Medium bodied with low carbonation, very nice on the palate. Overall: fantastic stuff and a must try for all the hop heads out there. dimenhetfield (157), , Florida, USA Aug 28, 2009 The name doesn’t lie, definitly hopped up to the extreme. Earthy and hopey. It hits you in the nose when you first smell it and tastes just as it should. brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA Aug 28, 2009 22oz bomber into pint glass. wow this one is bitter, wouldnt have it any other way! 100+ IBU’s, gotta love it! Nice clarity and color, small white head and floral aroma.
