Bottle. Almost clear and golden in colour with a white head. Quite hoppy with notes of raisin, rye, malty sweetness, high bitterness, caramel, grapefruits, citrus and pines.

This one pours a nice orangy amber with a decent yellowish-tan head. Aroma is quite strong and so hoppy that it smells a lot like a pine tree. Flavor is seriously hoppy, with some hints of fruit but not too much bitterness. Texture is not smooth, but it is still pleasant to drink, especially if you are a hops fanatic.

PIB 2008. Pours amber with a tall white head. Very floral citrus hops in the nose, oranges and soft grapefruit. This was well built, more focused on the aromatic hops and not so sharp on the bittering. Very floral on the palate, juicy citrus tastes abound. This was really an IPA I could drink by the pint, no harshness to it at all.

KP is the man! A nice amber pour with a thin white head. I liked my co-workers review of this and kind of agreed. Aroma "This smells like something...illegal!" Flavor " great hops and a nice malt backbone with caramel, but holy hell if this wouldn’t make a great italian pizza sauce as well". Lots of weird herbs and fun stuff in this one. Finishes bitter and spicy, medium mouth feel. I really wish this was available to me...

I sampled some of this beer from a friend on draft at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore. It had a clear, light amber color with a good-sized creamy white head with good retention. The aroma was a big citrus hop-dominated scent, with some pine hops and slight caramel malt to balance. The flavor was largely citrus with a big bitter taste of hops. The beer was pretty dry and had low carbonation, but still a bit watery in character.

From a bottle. Color is orange/amber. Nice solid head. Aroma = hops on the pine side. Very fresh smell. The taste, well, it didn’t disappoint, it was also a nice fresh hop taste on the citrus side. What a great beer. What a good solid IPA. Very nicely done. I like Lagunitas but they outdid themselves on this one. A great beer and a great IPA. I want more.

22 oz bottle thanks to drewbeerme for opening a couple of these and sharing them. Pours a clear copper with a white creamy head. That nose is so fresh. Caramel malts and fresh hops. Oranges, pine, and floral. Lots of juicy hop flavors. Oranges, tropical fruit, resiny with a caramel toffee backbone and a bitter finish. I could drink a lot of this stuff, really tasty.

Pours golden. So hoppy and malty, with the distinctive Lagunitas signature taste (Maximus and many others come to mind).
Sweet and fresh, little notes of this farmhouse aroma and taste. Everything is so well balance, I am asking for more.
