22 oz bomber rating. Amber body beneath a thin white head with good lacing. Aromas of citrus, honey, mango, and pine with a nice bittering finish. My kind of IPA. A mid strength brew that delivers. Good stuff here from Lagunitas. Will be buying in the future at a good bomber price.

Honey amber color. Floral overtones. Medium-bodied, nice bitterness on end. Very good brew and I got it at the right price! Not overpowering on the hops, a nice sweet malty side to it.

golden with mild white head. carbonation is higher than the traditional high abv IPA and a little too high for my taste. floral hoppy nose. hop character is very unique, i know this is supposedly made with hop extracts, not sure if the unique flavor is partially due to this. flavor is citrusy (cascade?,) with some piney (amarillo?,) and even grassy (Columbus?) notes that almost combines to taste something like apricots. some mild malt swetness adds some balance and a dry finish ends the experience. i had high expectations for this and it was unique, but not sure it met my thoughts

Cask at Rose & Crown in Palo Alto. I could drink myself "stoopid" with this one. Amber color, foamy white head. Incredible piney hop aroma. Flavor is more piney hops, sweet caramel malt, but somewhat of an artificial sweetener note that Iím not sure I like too much (if Iím going to nitpick). Great beer overall though. A little bit of hop oiliness on the palate and a lingering bitterness.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is pretty strong of pine hops with some citrus hops and caramel malts as well. Strong citrus and pine hops with some caramel malts. Decent bitter finish. Pretty decent brew.

22 oz. Bottle. 2/28/09. Dark amber and very clean, filtered apperence. Head stays for a good while, but is not in the way. smells of hops, hops, and more hops, with a slight malt backbone at the end. Tastes like fresh hops, and good north western ones too. One of the better double IPAs I have had and couldnít ask for much more from this beer except maybe not to filter it next time.

Bottle pours copper color with off white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, and hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is upfront pine, then citrus, and finishes with a caramel sweetness. This is more sweet than I would have expected for the style. Still a solid brew.

Bomber. I had this summer 2007 at Kirby Cove campsite. Anyone who knows of this place will understand my delight of the combination of the view and a good beer. It is now available in my home Ohio. Nice color, nice head, yada, yada, yada. Very intense hop aroma. Solid hop flavor with a consistent bitterness, just enough malt. Delivers a serious resinous thick mouthfeel, long lasting too.

1 pt 6 oz bottle. Pours rich coppery with a decent creamy off white head. Smells like a pine tree fell in an orange grove. Tons of pine and orange zest hits the nose. Tastes just as good, if not, better. Pine, orange zest, lemon, sweet, malty, and earthy. Creamy mouthfeel. Lasting aftertaste. Excellent beer.

Wow! 22 oz bottle. Pours a nice clear golden color with a thick white head full of bubbles. Aroma is hops hops hops, touch of malt. Flavor is a nice, powerful hop and citrus combination, with a nice balance with the caramel malts. Not bad at all!
