2009-07-31. Amber orange body, with a modest foamy head. (3+) Pleasant hoppy aroma, with modest resin. (7+) Flavour is similar, modest resiny hops with a decent amount of complexity. (7+) Smooth average palate. (3+) Just super drinkable, pleasantly hoppy. Rather tasty. Bottle from Consumers Beverage, Niagara Falls

Poured a orange/yellow with a solid white head. I believe I read something about Hop Stoopid using hop extract and not actual hops in the production of the beer. True or not this was a very hoppy and slightly malty IIPA. I did feel though that the hops part of it felt a little artificial hence the 7 on flavor. Still a nice beer to knock back with some bbq going on.

Caramel pour with creamy white head and lace. Nice medium citrus hop aroma. Semi sweet caramel malt with a good finishing bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Another nice’n.

Pours a clear deep orange with a pillowy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and flowers. Taste is pine and citrus, a bit of woody taste with a malt backbone. Good stuff.

22oz bottle into a snifter An interesting beer everyone should try to taste the extract hops. The aroma is sweet and flowery and this flows into the flavor as well. Nicely done and not as hoppy as you’d think. Very easy drinking for the style.

Bottled. Aroma has fresh crisp piney and citric hops. Clear, orange coloured with a slightly off-white head. The taste is bitter, crisp, has grapefruits and pines. Straightforward. Okay beer.

Clear amber orange. Smooth hop smell with several amounts of aging and sour/soft elements. This is superb by all means. The aftertaste soothes me like a ball rubbing.

22 oz. bottle in narrow tulip glass. Surprisingly clear golden color, just a few particles visible close up, fluffy IPA head. Big smell of pine, apricot and grapefruit. As their label claims, experimenting with hop extracts does indeed give it a big hop flavor without any grassy or vegetable notes. My lips are sticky from malts after a few drinks, with a light caramel or creme bruleé toast. It’s a different label, no "Sonoma Farmhouse" anywhere, and no date notch, but I bought this in May and got to it at just the right time.
