3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bottle - pours a crystal clear very light yellow/orange color with smallish white head. Aroma is pretty full of crisp, pungent, grapefruity hops, notes of cilantro and garlic. Flavor is fairly hoppy, piney and grapefruity, with a hint of caramel sweetness. Finish is farily balanced, but has a touch of metallic bitterness at the very finish. A fairly nice DIPA overall.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2009 Pours out clear light amber with lots of foam. Taste is sweet with lots of hops. Nice fruity citrus flavors with sticky bitter finish. Tasty brew for the money.

Nice double IPA, especially for the money. Lot of citrus, but most notably smells and tastes to me like a peach. I thnk that is what is good and for me in the end what is bad about the beer. I personally want my double IPAs to kick me in the teeth. This is nice though if it id di not have so much citrust/peach flavor I would say it was just an IPA. Nice pour with a good amount of head for an IPA type style. Good color. Being that it is under 5 dollars a bomber at my local beer store does not hurt either. I definitely recommend it at least once.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tallahassee, Fl. - Liquor Loft - 22 oz bomber. Dark orange pour, silky white head that leaves luxurious sticky lacing on the glass. Extremely fresh, sweet fresh aroma with loads of floral notes, clean piney spruce and hints of citrus. Flavor is full of ctrusy grapefruity goodness but is not lip puckering bitter - it’s almost as if someone poured hops directly into the glass. Slight bitterness is balanced out by a nectar sweet caramel syrupy sweetness. Been a while since I have been bowled over a hop bomb - maybe it is my longing to get back out west. Thick, sticky mouthfeel - enjoyed this one immensely.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 oz bottle attractively priced at $3.99 at Green’s in Atlanta. Pours a hazy amber body with a medium beige head. Huge aroma of citrusy marmelade. Orange, pineapple, and mango notes really jump out. Medium body is a bit chewy with toasty caramel but a spritzy carbonation blends all the elements into a balanced delight. Taste leans toward pink grapefruit and mango, with a prominent orange marmalade element. Alcohol is concealed quite well. Extremely drinkable and the price is right.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I could have started with the aroma, worked down to the the appearance, etc., and done the dicing of this beer. The long and short of it is that this is an epitomical AIPA. Good balance, grapefruit all over the place, caramel, sweet, thick mouth, big beer.
Long, sticky citrus finish. Big beer, nice drinking, even for someone who’s not a hophead. Sturdy work by Lagunitas. Market Square Liquors.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from the local shop down the road. A sparkling, golden-orange body with a lasting, filmy head and blanketing lacing. Looks sticky and vibrant. In your face grapefruit and lemon aromas backed up by fresh flowers and heavy pine. Good abundant scent to make the mouth start to water. Bitingly bitter feel with a medium, dry body. Fairly warming to the belly with a lingering bitterness. Fresh oranges and lemony grapefruit followed by resinous pine and a noticeable biscuit/bread malt backbone. Not as over the top as I was anticipating considering the 102IBU claim on the bottle, either way it was more than satisfying.

very nice and fresh aroma--prominently pine and somewhat spicy; lightly cloudy, golden body with white soapy head and fair lacing; excellent flavor--notes of grapefruit, orange zest, and dough; smooth; great drinking overall.
