3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle purchased at Beverages 4 Less in Santee. Hops with a sweet/sour grapefruit flavor. Pucker up bitter, with lots of nice aromas. Much nicer as it warmed. Very good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Its $3.99 for a reason...not an elite DIPA, but quite possibly the best priced beer to be found. 22 oz. bomber, purchased at a mini-mart in Vancouver, Washington, of all places. Hop Aroma and Flavor are fantastic. Too watery and not enough malt to balance. For all my criticism, I returned and purchased the remaining six bombers in the cooler...

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber. 7.7% ABV and 102 IBU’s for the record. Pours a crystal-clear, honey-colored body topped with an average, persistent head that is off-white and laces in thick rings and sheets. An amazing aroma of hops! Extremely quaffable. Very floral with hints of peach, citrus, and honey. Medium body with soft carbonation, fairly wet until warmed a bit. Heavily floral, with honey, lots of peach-apricot, grapefruit-rind, orange, some pine. Long, pleasantly bitter finish is assertively, pleasingly strong and introduced gently. More of a "big" IPA than what we get from many 2IPA’s nowadays on account of the lighter body and absence of a powerful (although fully sufficient) malt profile. Dry, refreshing, and unique for being an in-between. A must have for the dedicated hop-head.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden to amber in color. Moderate head diminishes to a thin lid of off-white bubbles. Big citric aroma. HInts of alcohol as well. Scents are dominated by grapefruit and zest, there may be a hint of caramel and honey in the background, but its a minor player. Immediate grapefruit juice bit on the tongue. A little orange zest follows. Caramel works itself in slowly and the malt finally shows up near the finish along with a bit of orange blossom honey. Some pine sap gains strength throughout the quaff and is coating the palate in the linger. The feel is a bit too biting at times. A truly hops forward brew. There are enough malt notes to help me stay interested in the hop monster.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2013 Think I was smokin’ crack when I had this the first time...it has become a staple. Clear 24-karat pour produces a 2-inch ivory fluff with significan spider-like webbing. Think and sticky...Black Widow-like. Aroma is grapefruit pith, orange peel, tangerine rind, lemon zest, Pinesol, sap, and honey. Flavor is bright and full of citrus accompanied by evergreen and a touch of caramel. Incredible mouthfeel that leaves an impression on the palate. How was I not impressed with this beer @ $3.99/bomber!!! Again, crack head? Great beer...get some!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks daknole. Pours a clear pale amber with a tall beige head. Good head retention, downright glass-coating in its laciness. Aroma has lots of grapefruit hops and floral notes, some honey sweetness, nothing chemical or syrupy. Flavor profile has lots of citric hops and hop bitterness. I think it errs a bit too much on the bitter side in the aroma-to-bitter ratio department. The alcohol heat comes off like candied ginger root. Somewhat sweet, but offset by the bitterness. Creamy, prickly-hot palate, medium bodied.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Pours a clear bright orange with a lightly tanned white head. Hefty amounts of sweet citrus hops on the nose, little wisps of alcohol. Medium bodied, almost creamy, sweet, and with a nice citrus tang. Finishes with a sweet grapefruit note and a long mellow bitter. The candied grapefruit thing at the end is excellent.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
1 ˝ year old bottle, slightly oxidized seeming, with a great loss of hop character. This should be drank young! Caramel, sweet aroma with a bit of stinky funk. Rather light, fruity, flavor that is very refreshing. Honey taste as well. Aftertaste is rather boring, lost, I think, in time. I’d like to try this fresh.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark orange pour with sticky, white head. Aroma is like snorting hops. Pine, citrus, gross, etc. Smooth, resiny flavor with big hop bite. Finishes with some caramel and pine. Much better than MAXIMUS. The hops in here are really impressive.
