I’m not rating this for the taste of beer...I’m rating this for a shitload of beer! Anyway, glad we got this up in Green Bay. Pours a rich orange color with thick fluffy white head that fades quickly. Aroma is intense orange, mango, pineapple and a bit of lemongrass. Taste is resinous earthy hops with some grassiness, citrus, pineapple and some caramel malt in the background. FInishes crisp and clean with just a bit of bitterness to prevent it from being watery. All and all, for $4.59 a bomber this is a frickin steal!

Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium fluffy off-white head that dissipates slowly. Grassy hops aroma with some malt and citrus underneath. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, orange peel and malt. The finish is thoroughly hoppy and has some malt backbone. The citrus hops stick around for a bit. Good all around.

Beautiful snow white head atop a fizzy orange nectar. Smells nice enough. I always like that flowery/citrusy smell of a good NW IPA. Tastes more watery than I expected. Also thought 100+ IBUs would be more intense but the bitterness is mellowed out pretty well.

Sweet pineapple aromas with honey and pine hops. Golden yellow with a slight rose hue. Flavor of citrus and orange, orange zest, some caramel, a little saltiness, duration remains sweet with a hoppy bitterness mixed in. Palate is medium thick with a decent duration. Not many flavor changes throughout. Rich enough and enjoyable. 100 + IBU’s are not overwhelming.

Big and ballsy, this was fantastic. Shared with some of my co workers, wished I had saved it for myself, as it was a little lost on them. Sweet and nice and hoppy. Good balance for such a hoppy beer. Good price too for Japan. I like these guys. They make some good beers.

Pretty good stuff. Smells of hops with some citrus undertones. The undertones seem to be of grapefruit and orange peels. Taste has a big hop flavor. Some subtle citrus flavors come in during intake. This brew packs a nice little punch in the end. An overall pleasant experience.

Pours deep amber orange w/a small off wite head that disipates quickly. To the nose it has nice sweet floral hops, pine and some citrus. First taste is sweet hops, some honey undernotes and a hop bite that then lingers on the palate. I’m giving this one a 5! It is all that you can ask for from and imperial IPA. I love it, job well done. Cheers!
