Flavor is bitter citrus, grass and a touch of malt to add some sweetness to each sip. Smoother then I thought it would be and very drinkable. williamherbert (466), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 28, 2009 The appearance is a clear carrot orange, with a healthy head. Frosty lace on the sides. The smell is a superior woody aroma. Heavy pine and woody oak. This is a sturdy aroma. Hint of sweet, flowery esters. Perfect. The taste is heavy with oaky hops. The hops themselves are dynamite. Very extreme and strong. The hops are all there, but just a touch of dark, roasted malts. Thick and creamy. Bristly and fizzy. This beer is heavy and thick. Major wood hops. I poured a second almost immediately (which I rarely do of the same beer) so it must be drinkable. A helluva nice beer. caesar (3021), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Bottled. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of fresh hop, grapefruit, pine. Nice bitter taste and finish. Pretty straightforward, like a decent DIPA should taste. But I dont see why this should be better than most other DIPAs. Rustyham (556), miami, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Really no point in decribing this- like most Impy IPA’s, it has an amazing smell that is not supported by the flavor. Don’t go out of your way for this one- nothing amazing here. Bottle at Abraxas in Miami Beach. jerohen (1611), Bussum, Netherlands

Nice nose, grapfruit, pine, very hoppy. Very bitter flavour, astringent in finish. Nice nose, but not very special. bbbrew (182), Washington DC, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 23, 2009 I’m not rating this for the taste of beer...I’m rating this for a shitload of beer! Anyway, glad we got this up in Green Bay. Pours a rich orange color with thick fluffy white head that fades quickly. Aroma is intense orange, mango, pineapple and a bit of lemongrass. Taste is resinous earthy hops with some grassiness, citrus, pineapple and some caramel malt in the background. FInishes crisp and clean with just a bit of bitterness to prevent it from being watery. All and all, for $4.59 a bomber this is a frickin steal! Dogbrick (2855), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 23, 2009 Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium fluffy off-white head that dissipates slowly. Grassy hops aroma with some malt and citrus underneath. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, orange peel and malt. The finish is thoroughly hoppy and has some malt backbone. The citrus hops stick around for a bit. Good all around.
