For those mornings when you have to cut right to the chase, this is the one. Sure to blast through just about anything still lingering from the night before, this mouthful of Hops and huge rich Malt has a gaurantee built right into the name!

KP is the man! A nice amber pour with a thin white head. I liked my co-workers review of this and kind of agreed. Aroma "This smells like something...illegal!" Flavor " great hops and a nice malt backbone with caramel, but holy hell if this wouldn’t make a great italian pizza sauce as well". Lots of weird herbs and fun stuff in this one. Finishes bitter and spicy, medium mouth feel. I really wish this was available to me...

I sampled some of this beer from a friend on draft at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore. It had a clear, light amber color with a good-sized creamy white head with good retention. The aroma was a big citrus hop-dominated scent, with some pine hops and slight caramel malt to balance. The flavor was largely citrus with a big bitter taste of hops. The beer was pretty dry and had low carbonation, but still a bit watery in character.

From a bottle. Color is orange/amber. Nice solid head. Aroma = hops on the pine side. Very fresh smell. The taste, well, it didn’t disappoint, it was also a nice fresh hop taste on the citrus side. What a great beer. What a good solid IPA. Very nicely done. I like Lagunitas but they outdid themselves on this one. A great beer and a great IPA. I want more.

22 oz bottle thanks to drewbeerme for opening a couple of these and sharing them. Pours a clear copper with a white creamy head. That nose is so fresh. Caramel malts and fresh hops. Oranges, pine, and floral. Lots of juicy hop flavors. Oranges, tropical fruit, resiny with a caramel toffee backbone and a bitter finish. I could drink a lot of this stuff, really tasty.

Pours golden. So hoppy and malty, with the distinctive Lagunitas signature taste (Maximus and many others come to mind). Sweet and fresh, little notes of this farmhouse aroma and taste. Everything is so well balance, I am asking for more.

A surprise find at a local beer store. Picked it up on a whim and I’m glad I did. I cannot say I’ve ever tasted a better beer. Wow!!! Nuff said!!!!

Draught at Cole’s, Buffalo, NY. Pours a clear golden-orange with a small diminishing fluffy white head. Very nice aroma with lots of resiny hops backed by caramel malt, some mint, sweetness and citrus. Big, fresh tasting hoppy flavour -- just a ton of resiny hops here -- BIG -- BIG! Long bitter finish. Alcohol’s almost totally hidden. Good body for the style. Holy moly, this is huge -- it’s so hoppy but oh so fresh and tasty -- I love it!

Pours copper with thin white head. Aroma if HUGE floral hops that explodes when the cap is popped. Taste is all citrus, grapefruit and resin hops. Nice medium mouthfeel. Aroma reminded me of Hopslam. Best Lagunitas beer by far!!

22oz bottle thanks to andrew.... semi-transparent orange brown pour with a frothy thin off-white head.... a floral bouquet of lovely hops come through in the nose. for it being a few months old, iits still was quire nice. floral and tropical fruit hops mix well with some sweet syrupy underlying malt.... flavors were wet and juicy fruity hops, somewhat oily and resiny with a just a tinge of bitterness coming through in the finish. sweet malt play a nice balancing role. extremely drinkable......i gotta have this fresh sometime.
