1 pint, six oz. bottle. Pours a copper color w/ a nice white head that sticks around. Good lacing. Aromas of pine and citrus appear immediately. These fragrances are accompanied by a subtle sweetness. Medium bodied. A little sharp on the finish. Very enjoyable.

Bomber->tulip: pours a large, off-white head atop an amber body. Aroma of sprice, citrus, lemon, leaves, and even bubble gum. The body is full, texture alcoholic with average carbonation. The flavor of the beer is moderately bitter. The aroma sold me on this one--I love hoppy, aromatic beers and this one delivered all the way through.

Bottle. Copper color with a decent beige head. Laces really well. Very effervescent. Earthy fresh hop nose with grapefruit and lemon. A boquet of hops in the mouth. Grassy with lots of citrus and floral all rounded out by a non-astringent bitterness. This is really a celebration (and not an exploitation) of the hop. I had this on tap once and was blown away. It’s great in the bottle, too. I consider this beer one of my faves.

22oz Bottle.A clear golden orange color with a two finger thick foamy white head, some spotty lacing left, medium carbonation. Aroma of citrus hops, pine and orange peel , Flavor is very good ,crisp clean and hoppy , nice grapefruit ,and resin notes with a bit of orange peel, the malt does not seem to play a huge role but does provide a good balance and light caramel sweetness , a nice hoppy finish with a good amount of bitterness all around , full body , clean , slightly oily mouthfeel with a long finish. Very drinkable and quite tasty

Awesome stuff, I’ve bought a few bottles of this stuff now $3.99/bottle down here in GA. Seriously this stuff rocks. I just sniffed the bottle cap (from a week ago) and it still smells awesome

hahah! 102 IBU? Killer. How can one go wrong with that? Poured out a very nice apricotty gold crystal clear brew. If you look closely you can see tiny molecules shaped like hop buds... or is that my imagination? Perfectly sized off white / light tan head, thick and slowly receding. Another swirl creates a deep cap and hop happy bubbles dance in my glass. Splotchy lacing. My nose is being pampered with the swirling aromas of thick aprioranectareaches, grapefruits, pine, sweet subdued caramel, floral notes and pineapples. I just poured the rest of the first bottle into my glass and then ate 2 mouthfulls of beer foam. Now, when is the last time you ate beer foam? And was it good? Of course it wasn’t. Well then, you need to eat this foam - intentionally. It truly was excellent. I actually ate it so I could get closer to the liquid hidden far beneath. The taste is truly excellent. A sweet fruity elixir greeted my with a friendly hello and then began to implode my insides with a non-lethal hop injection. The massive hops are so well done here - keeping very fruity masking what could have been a stomach full of leafy, characterless hops. Thick, heavy citrus (no lemon) that includes the now famous aprioranectareaches, mild unsweetend grapefruit, a stiff but secondary pine bite, smooth malts keep this savage in check, pineapple again, the pine leans towards juniper if you know what I mean. Sooo drinkable and, hey, no notice of the 7.7% what so ever. Yea, lots of thick flavours are there when warmer but I preferred this a bit colder - it kept away the syrupy quality better. Light medium bodied, leans towards a thick mouth coating. The malts remain as the soft, gentle undercarridge that allow the drool initiating hop flavours to stay afloat without getting to unruly. Tons of bitterness, obviously, so much beyond the ability of your body to recognize. Excellent, excellent beer. I enjoyed this so much. I love hops, dammit. I’d marry them if I could but I think the wedding night in the room would be a tad disappointing....

On tap at Russian River brewpub during the 2009 RBSG visit there. This was a dark gold pour, nice amount of citrus and hoppiness with some balance.

Pours a clear golden color with a foamy haed. Aroma is citrussy and hoppy. Tastes very much like the Pliny the Elder (which I like the best). Nice balanced citrus and hops with a warm dry alcohol finish. Yummy.
