DSG (1501), Tel Aviv, Israel Oct 28, 2009 Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Zvika. Clear honey-golden color. Aroma of pine needles, resin, cookies and caramel. Flavor kicks off slightly sweetish and malty with fruits and continues bitter and hoppy with some pine needles. Medium-bodied. Uglyradio (775), Greenville, South Carolina, USA Oct 27, 2009 Orange pour, small white head...Citrus hop aroma...Full body...Citrus hop flavors with a good malty backbone...Hop finish with a hint of bitterness that lingers...Orange citrus aftertaste...Good stuff... burpfrank (292), carpinteria, California, USA Oct 25, 2009 Bought in bottle at our new Wholefoods store.I think they have the best good beer selection in town. This one had a fairly strong body.Nice Ipa hoppiness.Had a good Ipa aroma and appearance.Pretty good Ipa.I will try again. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Oct 24, 2009 Pours a clear, dark golden amber with a small, creamy, off-white head and sheeting lace. The aroma is of big citric and moderately resinous hops over caramel malt. Medium to full-bodied with soft carbonation and a solid, bitter and slightly resinous finish. A nice balance of sweet caramel malt and citric hops (orange and blood orange) with a lingering bitter finish. At 102 IBUs, I was really pleased that this isn’t a complete slap-in-the-face of hop bitterness. Is it the best IIPA I’ve had? It’s not even close, but at $4 a bomber, this is a very nice beer/value. jeremytoni (1072), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Oct 24, 2009 From a bottle poured dark amber with a good amount of head. Nice strong hoppy flavor with a lasting finish. KangLoco (2), Colorado, USA does not count Oct 23, 2009 22 oz bottle.
